We were so taken by our beautiful apartment. It was exactly as depicted - and perhaps even better. We had a lovely second story 2BR/2BA facing the ocean with a deck facing the ocean. The decor was lovely, the vibe was exactly as we hoped for. Jesica messaged me in advance, greeted us at the building, provided clear guidance and recommendations. There were beach towels and beach bags for use in the unit, which was incredibly helpful. We would absolutely return.
It was my first time to Troncones so as such, I'll provide some things that I learned.
1. It should be noted that on VRBO the map / property location shows this as being in the heart of Troncones. That is not accurate. When I received the address a few days before travel, I discovered this property was a bit farther north than expected. This mattered to us because we were there for a wedding and had hoped to be able to regularly walk to the wedding hotel. Nonetheless, we were still incredibly happy with the property and with our stay, and adapted by taking taxis (which were mostly easy to come by). This property is closer to Manzanillo beach.
2. I was hoping we could buy provisions for breakfast and snacks. There aren't a ton of options - mostly packaged food. We did end up buying some milk and granola in Troncones - and fruit from a fruit truck.
3. There are some fun and good restaurant options in Manzanillo, all within walking distance.
Again, highly recommend this property! A true favorite.
