「Great views from room. Monica was wonderful. Parking was a bit difficult for me being from the U.S. (drove around neighborhood like 4 times and then found parking lot). Not sure if can park on streets. Very busy. Walked to beach. Sanctuary of santa maria (looks like a castle on water) was well worth visiting. Water beach is beautiful. Great breakfast.」

「The staff was helpful, but there were issues with our room: a smell emanating from the shower, a toilet that periodically would keep running and therefore unable to be flushed, and when we wanted to open a bottle of wine, the staff could not find a corkscrew on-site. We had to ask a nearby bar to open the bottle for us. Later that evening, a staff member showed up with corkscrew and two wine glasses but it was too late. At the price paid, it’s not too much to expect a corkscrew. Also no coffee...

「Very nice, very local to everything, very respectful. Only “bad” thing I can say is the AC doesn’t stay turned on if you leave the room. (Card had to be in and only 1 card is given) so since we’re not used to the heat we had to wait a bit for the room to cool back up but other than that i would come and stay here again!!! Everything was awesome !」

Ein längerer Fußmarsch mit Gepäck in großer Hitze ist sowohl beim ankommen als auch beim abreisen unumgänglich. Für ältere Gäste unzumutbar!! Tropea ist ein bezauberndes Örtchen, dass man allerdings in einem Tag erlebt hat. Längere Aufenthalte sind weniger empfehlenswert.」

「Everything was broken in our room. The shower doors, the shower faucet, the toilet paper holder, the air conditioner, the blinds on the window, the headboard. The broken AC leaked a ton of water that spread all across the floor and soaked our belongings. The listing also said that there was airport transfer included but this is not true. We had to pay €90 each way for a taxi. There is a terrace but the chairs are sunken in and there is no light for nighttime. The location is convenient, but...

「The location was right next to the stairs to the beach and all the restaurants. Very clean also.」

「The room was nice & the bed was comfortable. It was in a good location although it was noisy as it was directly above an excellent restaurant that was very busy every evening. The cleaning staff were lovely but our biggest problem was the lack of care from the management team. The WiFi stopped working half way through our 4 day stay & despite their initial apologies that it was out of their control.. they stopped communicating about any updates with their attempts to fix the problem....
