「No hot water the 1st day. Television was not working properly. Staff was helpful. The hotel is really far from Tropea city center & beach. Needed to walk in the heat, no public transportation. Breakfast was very good. There is no open restaurant nearby.」

「What a special place to stay and explore the beaches in Parghelia and the Gold Coast. My room was facing the gardens with a view to the main villa and sea in the distance. All rooms have a lovely private patio where a fresh cooked breakfast was served every morning. Comfortable rooms featured air conditioning, beach towels and beach umbrella which came in handy to visit Spiaggia Michelino - it’s simply breathtaking - well worth the hike. Ein längerer Fußmarsch mit Gepäck in großer Hitze ist sowohl beim ankommen als auch beim abreisen unumgänglich. Für ältere Gäste unzumutbar!! Tropea ist ein bezauberndes Örtchen, dass man allerdings in einem Tag erlebt hat. Längere Aufenthalte sind weniger empfehlenswert.」

Breakfast was also pretty OK; not a big buffet but once again good enough in Italian style. The view from the combined breakfast room/ bar is stunning.
