My first Glamping experience! It was exactly as I had hoped, and imagined it to be. The only downside was there were no showers available, and the communal fire pits were a bit of a walk from my tent. The shared fire does promote socializing with fellow campers. Tips for future campers: bring firewood, and a small propane heater for your tent if it’s cold at night. And flashlights!

After booking with no refund, got an email from the place stating that there is nobody at the desk and 4WD vehicle is required to access the site. On arrival, road was flooded, postings of room assignments were not legible and there was no map at facility. No email sent regarding tent assignment. Completely muddy site with cold showers. Nobody to contact. No response when I reached out via email with concerns, no refund given-did not even end up spending the night because I could not find the tent and there was nowhere else open so had to sleep in the car. Awful experience. NOT GLAMPING. Not worth the price even if it had not been flooded and got assigned accomodation.

Great off the grid camp for a quick getaway. The beds were super comfortable & having solar lights to mark the paths to the tents was extremely helpful. Stargazing at nigh was a true treat. Check the weather conditions before you book - The access road to the property was through a stream - due to a flash flood the week before it was in disrepair - we wouldn't have been able to reach the camp without an SUV

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE. My friend and I had booked our night stay here after our Bryce Canyon trip as the location seems to be in good proximity (possibly the only good thing I could say). We show up after reading reviews that the road to get to the camp is horrendous and there is a sign in front of us to please proceed ahead with caution. What we see in front of us after pulling onto a dirt road is a river running through the road and the camp about a quarter of a mile up ahead. The river seemingly pretty shallow and without signs of it being closed, my friend and I proceed with our rental car, only to find out it is not shallow. We get our car to the other side ALSO to find out camp is CLOSED without a person in sight and now our car is stuck on the other side, unable to cross back across the river to leave. My friend and I had to walk down a main highway, without service, to find someone to kindly take us in to town to see an EMAIlL, and only an EMAIL, saying camp is closed. When the company was called, they were less than helpful, requiring our friend and I to call a tow company ourselves, which Wander Camp promised to reimburse us for. After a ride back to the car from 1 of the workers, hours later, dark out and storming, we were able to get the car out. Wander Camp has since been avoiding our calls (I am almost sure they blocked my number) and have told me lies that other staff members have said were false. It is a SCAM.

On the day of our arrival the small trickle of a stream that needed to be crossed had turned in to a flash flood. Reservations were canceled for that night and the following as well. So we only saw the camp from across the stream, so we can’t really comment on cleanliness etc. . Communication was efficient. Just didn’t realize that I have to go through this process of getting a refund.

A must stay for a comfortable night of sleep. Beds are so warm and soft. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Just 20 outside Bryce Canyon. Be sure to look up at night at state of into the clear and full view of the milky way! It's absolutely gorgeous and will leave you in awe. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Extremely dirty facilities. floor broken in showers, toilets, showers, sinks dirty (clearly not been cleaned for weeks). Sheets on bed clean, had a smell which indicated they hadn’t been washed well. Track going into the camp was extremely ‘rough’ not suitable for a normal size car.

Really enjoyed our stay at Wander Camp. Had two separate stays here, so stayed in two yurts. Gorgeous views. Quiet and safe. Friendly and helpful staff (got a free propane tank the first cold night for filling out a review). The beds were more comfortable than many hotels I've stayed in, truly soft and cozy! Just a really cool experience. The staff seems to work hard to keep the facilities clean. Very close drive to Bryce Canyon hikes and a few nearby restaurants (Showdowns and Pizza Place) Of our yurts, No. 2 was great. No. 14 was on bumpy terrain with a big dip on one side of the yurt that made that part pretty unusable so I'd try to avoid that one. On first night, bathrooms were fine. On second stay in the morning, lack of toilet paper and paper towels in many of the bathrooms.

They are very helpful and communicated really well with me. We enjoyed pur stay so much so, that we ended up changing our plans to go back another night after hiking all day at Bryce canyon and Capitol Reef. I wpuld recommend this place to anyone!

Weather happens, and roads get washed out -- this is nothing that can be avoided by the property. However, I have been trying to get in contact with the property for weeks via chat, phone call and email with no responses. I have had sporadic responses to the chat feature on their site, but typically hours later when I'm no longer at my computer to see them responding. I booked through Expedia, so they have to confirm the cancellation by the property before refunding me, but they, too, have reached out and continue to be ignored. I have no idea how this place is in business with such TERRIBLE customer service.

There were no signs off the freeway that were visible. Lower clearance vehicles should not attempt getting into the campsite. The creek going into the site was washed out. Once unto the property there was no map site to show which number tent was yours. Online showed a map site but there was no cell service at the location. You had to walk the site to find your tent number. I wondered how they ever passed inspection with their bathroom setup; certainly nothing would have passed ADA standards. On the plus side the star gazing was wonderful and the bed and down comforter bedding was great. They really need to work on their communication.

If you are looking for a unique immersive experience of camping in Utah, look no further, Camp Wander is the answer. Make no mistake, this is not a five star hotel! However, the tents are in excellent condition for the climate they live in. The beds were not just cots, they were comfortable mattresses. The butterfly chairs made for excellent star gazing. The bathrooms had working lights and running water. There was even a convenient little wagon to transfer things from parking area to the tents. Best of all was the fellow campers, everyone was so warm and welcoming, it was easy to go fire to fire and make friends! The overall spirit of Wander Camp came through from the campers to the people on site who were there to help. Such a fun experience!

DO NOT BOOK HERE NO ONE was there or ever showed up to help with anything. Us and several other campers had to figure out where the heaters and tents were. One tent was double booked and with no cell service and no customer service the campers spent time getting in touch with someone and having it fixed. Our sheets and blankets were dirty and had hair all over them, maybe pet hair? The “check in” is a trailer with a rope tied to the knob to keep the door shut. Inside were the heaters with half empty propane bottles thrown about. Also several of the lanterns did not work and had to find working lanterns. They should not be able to take peoples money for absolutely NO service.

The property itself is lovely and I wanted to love this place, but the company's unprofessional communication and management made it tough. At 7:30 p.m. on our second night staying here, we received this curt text message: "Hi there, unfortunately, we won't be able to host you for tonight due to the increased flooding." You have to drive across a small river to access the parking lot, but during any amount of rain, that river's water level rises. The weather is not Wander Camp's fault, but their unprofessional communication and choice of camp location certainly is. They should have called us, explained the refund process and alternative places to stay rather than texting. We had to go back to camp to collect our belongings anyway before we could go find another place to spend the night, and the onsite staff told us we could walk across the river, which had fallen to about six inches deep in just the hour's time since the text message canceling our stay. So we ended up staying the night after all, but we had an hour of sheer panic trying to figure out where we were going to stay thanks to Wander Camp's unprofessional communication.

This was our worst experience with any hotel.com booking. The pictures of the location and accommodations are very misleading. The place was a utter dump with no facilities whatsoever. I would never recommend this company or location to anyone.

Well, we never actually got to stay there, though we did check it. A small flash flood prevented of from reentering the hotel proper (had to cross the flash flood river). The hotel offered us port us across the river when they were available in the high-rise jeep, but as seniors, and wanting easier and timely access to the surrounds (Bryce Canyon), we cancelled, but, we did not get a refund for both nights. They only gave us a "raincheck" for 2022, as if that really helps since we're from the other side of the country.

The camp was flooded. We arrived at 5pm and told we couldn’t stay, drove 2.5 hours for us to have to find other accomodation. No contact about the flood and then no contact in regards to follow up and refund. Been desperately trying to contact the hosts and no reply to my emails or calls. Heard back briefly via text then disappeared. Communication overall has been shocking. We understand things happen, but the fact no one contacted us about the fact we couldn’t stay until we already arrived, and then no one reached out the days following us so disappointing.

Very nice people running the area. GPS did not take us to correct location but was easy to spot tent/camp sites. Tents were clean and beds very comfortable.
