Really wanted to like this place, but...

Downstairs bedroom and bathroom smelled absolutely terrible. Bed was uncomfortable - so I turned it, and found what appeared to be mouse droppings between the mattress and box spring. Only one AC unit serves both downstairs and up, so the upstairs can't get cool - when downstairs is frigid. Have stayed in Schaffers many times, and really wanted to like this place. Pics of living area are accurate - very nice. Dealing with house managers + checkin process was easy.
