The home was very nice. I have rented many homes before and I have to say your kitchen was the best stocked with cooking supplies, utensils, dishes even a blender. Even extra paper towels with a clean sponge! Thank you for everything

Clean and Spacious

Big and spacious place. Plenty of room for people to spread out and relax. Master bathroom had heated floors which was pretty cool. We were snowed in and the property manager let us check out late but for a fee. Couldn’t open the hot tub despite being given the passcode to the lock.

Starlight retreat

Great home! Well located close to truckee, but out of the hussle of main street. The home is located in a great neighborhood with multi-million doller homes around it. Neighbors were nice. Spa worked great and seemed well taken care of and the kitchen was well appointed as we cooked a couple great meals while there. Parking was good for multiple full sized vehicles. Over all, it was a really great stay for two families for a short trip. I would stay there again!

BEWARE: Identify Theft/Poor Management

The management company attempted to have copy of passport/driver’s license sent over unsecured email. It’s evident they don’t know much about technology as they claim their e-mail is secure. In addition, I had to sign more documents for a 3-day rental than I did when I bought a house….absolutely ridiculous! Lastly, there was no instructions or rules at the rental, you have to request everything from the management company…will never rent from Tahoe Getaways again!

Great getaway

Amazing place to stay, especially with a larger family where there are plenty of bathrooms, tons of fun playing pool and using the spa under the stars, only negative needs a bigger tv in family room, and there is no AC.

Metro' get away

The house was perfect for what we needed it was in a nice area and very quiet and close to all the places we went to. My only recommendation is maybe getting a bear box we put the trash out lastnight around 10pm and 3 bears got into it and we had to go around picking up all the trash this morning. Over all everyone loved the house.

Starlight Retreat home was lovely. Area was conveniently located to Truckee and Lake Tahoe. We were there when the Coronavirus started and all resorts and restaurants were shut down. We still had a wonderful time. Neighbors were even welcoming! Staff at management company couldn't have been nicer. Only recommendations for the house would be adding steak knives and games or DVD player for renting movies.... and maybe one more wine opener in case the one at the house breaks... 😀

Christmas at Starlight

We really enjoyed our stay at Starlight. Easy check in/check out. The house was fully equipped for a great family holiday. Couple of suggestions would be to check the water heater. We seemed to run out of hot water for evening showers. The ice maker line seemed to freeze so we did not get ice from the automatic ice maker. I would also suggest fixing the remote for the fireplace. Starting the fire manually was adequate but we were nervous when the pilot went out and really did not want anything bad to happen.
