The staff at Tierra Viva, all of them, made my family and I feel at home, they were super attentive, respectful and accommodating and we were extremely grateful. The food is good and Frank makes the best drinks, great location. Great experience every time. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Trujillo.

The staff was very helpful and nice. They let us check in earlier than the regular hour. The buffet breakfast had a variety of options. We ate breakfast on Sunday with Tamales. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Trujillo, Peru.

The service was excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood in Trujillo. The neighborhood is very mellow and has lots of shopping and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance of the hotel. It’s a very safe neighborhood and you should have no problem walking around it even at night. The hotel itself is very clean and has a modern feel. The hotel is located close to the airport and you can get there within 10 to 15 minutes.

Pros:The hotel staff was professional, kind, attentive and very accommodating. The food and services were good. The hotel was clean and conveniently located. Cons: Got ripped off by the cab service that serves the hotel a couple of times, since they don’t have standardized fees and each driver charges whatever they want. The bed sheets were rough. Hotel made a mistake with my final bill and charged me extra but corrected it at the end.
