"This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station...

"Kenji-San has a lovely farm that is the perfect mountain side retreat for some quiet and solitude! The Japanese cedar bath is enough reason alone to book! The best bath I’ve ever had! Not only that but Kenji-San was very flexible and accommodating with my arrival and departure. He even offered me vegetables from his farm to go along with the food I had brought. They were so fresh and delicious! This is the perfect place to get away and refresh yourself in the elements. I wish I could’ve stayed...
