There is no way you’d expect a renovated design classic like the Hardware in this small, rural but impeccably well kept, town The handcrafted cocktail bar, The Bobcat, is icing on the cake. We will be back. We are searching for a reason to pass by this way again simply for the Hotel Hardware Totally Epic! (In a very stylish understated way)"

"My wife and I chose this peaceful, private farm retreat as our base camp to explore the Palouse Falls and surrounding area. Located in a picturesque valley, this home, a cowboy retreat, is comfortable and surrounded only by the sounds made by grazing sheep, cattle, horses, and flocks of geese. Oh yes, and goats, very friendly inquisitive goats. The kitchen is fully stocked; we cooked all our meals. One of them on the outdoor barbecue - not a grill, but a griddle. Never used one before, but I am now looking to get one myself. Dayton and nearby Waitsburg are nice towns. Dayton has an EV charger (Flo) that we discovered too late our stay, but which is very convenient. The next closest one is in Ritzville about 45 minutes away. Our host, Stephanie, was great in her communication with us and made sure we were well situated. We are a retired couple, and loved it here. But if you have kids, they will like it even more."

"This is a special house with a lot of charm and character. It’s clearly been well taken care of.Easy access to Lewiston and Clarkston, beautiful river views, clean, and comfy beds! It felt just like being at home. We will be back!"

"What an amazing place to stay in wine county!!! The accommodations were 5 star all the way! It was the best place to wind down and relax after a day roaming around all the wineries. And the pool. There are not enough descriptive words to explain how that was the perfect end of day and before breakfast relaxation moment.We did have a few snafus of our own making. But we were greeted with all the support we needed. We recommend this place for all wine county getaways. Not to far away from all the hubub of the wineries, but far enough away to relax. The wheat fields surrounding the property create an amazing view. Stay here. You will not be disappointed!"

"Nice clean property, newly renovated. Very well stocked with everything you would need. Lots of beds upstairs. Quiet. My only negative would be a slippery shower floor. Needs non slip strips or mat. Cottage is on the same property as the owner (very close). It wasn’t a problem for us, but some people may not like that. I would definitely stay again."
