Historic private 3 bed 2 bath, Walk to the University.

An elegant vintage home in the heart of the university area; minutes to downtown and Banner UMC hospital. Close to dining and cultural events. Located in a quiet neighborhood.
The home has a fully walled yard and locked gate for secure, private, on property parking. Two reserved parking spots are also available in front of the house. The home is beautifully furnished; full of charm, with thoughtfully curated art. Ideal for couples/friends/families who a want comfortable gathering areas for shared time, but also desire separate bedrooms & bathrooms. As of August 2025 we have added an additional renovated casita, (180 sq, ft.) ; apart from the main house for study and relaxing.
A spacious bathroom is adjacent to the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom includes a Memory Foam king sized bed. The additional bedrooms features a twin and queen beds with Tuft and Needle mattresses. These two bedrooms are in their separate area with a large walk-in rain shower creating privacy for all. WIFI equipped for internet access on your device, also connected to the Smart TV's in the living room and queen bedroom. Simply login to your favorite streaming apps.
Our backyard features a roomy furnished covered patio for enjoying the outdoor Tucson atmosphere. There is a charcoal BBQ for your outdoor cooking. For pet owners, the property has a large secure yard for your furry BFF to roam safely. A portion of pet fees collected will be contributed to Tucson area animal welfare agencies.

Minutes to food shopping, coffee shops, live music, McKale Center, Tucson Poetry Center, Tucson Festival of Books, Randolph Park, Tucson Rodeo-"Fiesta de los Vaqueros", and the Arizona Stadium. Enjoy Tucson's varied UNESCO City of Gastronomy designation for its rich culinary heritage. Tucson prides itself on "The best 23 miles of Mexican food". Casa Reina is a great home base for Southern Arizona bird-watching outings. Close to Sunlink-the Tucson streetcar and convenient to bus lines.

A 10 minute drive to Randolph Park; featuring a public year-'round handicap/children accessible swimming pool zoo, tennis, a golf driving range, pool, golf courses, a walking/biking loop, dog park and a duck pond. Also home of Arizona Wildcat baseball stadium- Hi Corbett field.


Your hosts and owners of the property have been in the hospitality/hotel business and culinary arts for their entire careers; taking pride in guest comfort and making sure all the details are right for their stay. We have lived in the Rincon Heights neighborhood for over 30 years and call it home with pride. WE ARE NOT A MANAGEMENT COMPANY and do not collect additional Host Fees.

Great stay in Tucson

House was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable charming space that is walking distance to U of A. Short drive to all the great spots in Tucson.

Perfect Stay

My wife and I and our dogs spent five night visiting Tucson (we lived there for years back in the 90s). The house and grounds were even cuter in person and made an excellent central base for our trip. Pups appreciated the dog treats!

Escape from the cold weather

This property was clean and comfortable and in a great location. We were in close proximity to downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona. The home was so relaxing and peaceful. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this location..

Wonderful Stay!

My dad and I enjoyed our stay. Ann and Bruce were excellent hosts. They had a snack waiting for us upon our arrival along with a sweet welcome note. They were very quick to respond to communications. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We would stay again if ever back in the area.

Fun in the Sun

We had a great time. My daughter attends University of Arizona, and we could walk to the University. VRBO ticked all of our boxes. Easy communication with host.We hope to use location again in the future.

U of A grad weekend

It was perfect. Close to the university, clean home, felt very safe. Ann and Bruce had some extras that we appreciated after travel, ie cold water in the fridge, homeade cookies, a bag of chips and jar of salsa. Our daughter graduated so we aren’t likely to go back, but I would highly recommend it.

Tucson stay

We all found that the beds were a little hard and the pebbled flooring in one of the bathrooms was uncomfortable for showering. Apart from that, and missing a dishwasher, it was a very nice property and very conveniently located in Tucson.

Lovely Home, Lovely Hosts, Delicious Homemade Chocolate Chips Cookies!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is decorated throughout with wonderful art work and crafts.The beds and furniture are very comfortable. Our contacts with the hosts were very enjoyable and helpful. The homemade chocolate cookies were delicious and indicative of the hospitality we enjoyed during our stay.

A perfect 'home base' for exploring Tucson!

Our family stayed at this sweet home over spring break and I would absolutely recommend it! The house was very clean and well stocked, and the location was convenient for us to visit everything that Tucson had to offer. 5 stars and we would certainly stay there again!

Wonderful house, good location

We had a great family stay - location is easy to get to and close enough to many Tucson activities- even to walk to. Neighborhood is quiet and clean and parking was right in front of the house. The house is even nicer than photos show. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms nice and yard pretty. We loved the place and would recommend highly.

Great location, beautiful house

The location is perfect for just about anywhere in Tucson, but particularly downtown/university. The house is immaculate, well-stocked and very comfortable. Even with a homecoming game a few blocks away the house was quiet.

Excellent and convenient

House very welcoming with many special touches. The Christmas tree, snacks, souvenir postcard, homemade cookies all added to our Christmas experience. Beautiful artisan pieces through out the house were perfect. Patio was very comfortable and quiet. The convenience of downtown only a mile away. Easy access to many restaurant choices and shopping. We would choose to stay again when we are in Tucson.

Comfortable getaway close to university campus

Terrific location, clear instructions from our host made it easy to get situated. The back patio and yard gave us a lovely setting to relax upon arrival. We were two sets of couples and the house was perfect to give us each privacy since the bedrooms are separated into two different wings. Clean, comfortable, great set-up. If we return to Tucson, we'll stay here again in a heart beat!

I could live here

Great place for 2 couples. We each had our own side of the house. The treats left for us upon arrival were well appreciated and delicious. We have stayed in many VRBOs, this home and host are tops. The feel, the esthetics, the cleanliness made a super comfortable home away from home. We won’t look anywhere else when in Tucson

Amazing house

A few of us came to visit a friend that lives in the area. We did a few searches and found Casa Reina, the pictures looked amazing but it’s even better in person. Such beautiful touches inside and out. Bruce and Ann had fresh baked cookies and plenty of snack and drinks upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, we all slept like babies. You are walking distance to the UA stadium and a little hike to some shopping but wasn’t bad in the beautiful weather we had. We have told our friends and family about your little gem. Thanks again! Casa Reina is a Gem

Great location for navigating around Tucson. Charming decoration and furnishings, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and bedrooms. Attractive back patio area and secure parking with walled garden. A great place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Owners were accommodating and informative with good recommendations for dining and attractions. We hope Casa Reina is available again for our next visit. Alan and Mary

Definitely Worked For Us

We were two couples and thus very much appreciated the two wings of the house. Our two dogs loved the yard, savoring time outside in the AZ sun. The kitchen was well appointed. They even had two sheet pans! It’s a pretty place to enjoy Tucson.

2 years in a row, this is now my go to place in Tucson

Everything is just fabulous. The house is lovingly decorated with local art and so comfortable. The layout is great for friends, families, or two couples. I always look for good outdoors space too and this property is wonderful with outdoors space from both bedrooms. Ann brought baked cookies over one day to add to chips/salsa and basics for cooking provided. I will be back for sure!
