“It is difficult to fault Kilkea Castle as every aspect of the property impressed. The little things therefore matter and small faults in maintenance, which should be dealt with in a luxury property, tend to stand out more. However, that is digging into the fine detail. So, first impressions carried through from first stepping inside with a warm welcome, the engaging housekeeping staff and superbly professional dining/breakfast room staff. On site activities are a nice touch and worth looking at.……

Super well equipped, comfortable, clean, and with marvelous decoration. The area where the house is located is absolutely stunning. And of course, we must mention Cathy again, she is incredibly nice, kind, intelligent, talkative, and made our one-night stay feel like being with family. “Check in was very efficient. The electronic cards to our rooms were already prepared and waiting for us. Although not new, the property was well maintained and everything worked well. Lee was the receptionist, bartender and waitress and did an outstanding job. Our dinners in the restaurant on site were all very good. Breakfast was made to order and was also excellent. ”
