We liked that we were out of the fray in the city, but still walkable to great coffee shops, breakfast, restaurants and more. Plus, we loved having a full kitchen on site! The hosts were helpful and the beds were very comfortable.

Great AC. Shower was good and plent of hot water. Room nicely sppointed. Sofa is really just a couch but was OK. Nice leafy and quiet location. Easy check in and out inuding leaving bags. Kitchen has range of pots and utensils. All good

We had a great stay over Christmas at Casa de Piedra. Hugo is an excellent host and had great suggestions for dining in downtown Tulum. The property is very interesting architecturally, is spacious, clean and has all the advertised amenities.

The owner/care taker was nice and help us with whatever we need. The suite has some unique characters, like the wooden half steps stairs, and the walk on net on the over height ceiling. That was interesting, my kid loves it.

The stay was good! Rooms did not look as well as the pictures and the sheets smelled real funky. The shower pressure was super strong and leaked from one side (which flooded the entire bathroom). But they were extremely accommodating. Towels were provided and the area was quiet! There was no problem parking and very easy to get to! The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed! There was also a tv with netflix and other apps which was super nice!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa de Piedra. The value for money is unbeatable. 1000 square feet of living space with high ceilings and as an added bonus, a netted/webbed lounging area that doubles as a trampoline for kids. It was also nice having two distinct rooftop areas, one of which we had to ourselves. Hugo is very approachable and great to chat with, and Modesto looked after us very nicely. Yes, it's not the Hilton, but the price is a fraction of Hilton prices. Very comfy bed as well! Recommended.

When this property was new it must have been amazing! It’s nice but you can see its old and no one takes care if it. The property had few cockroaches and lizards and ants. Since the windows are not sealed, there is a lot of noice from the road and it is impossible to sleep. Hugo was very friendly and nice to us.

Hosts very communicative and friendly. But room we had had mold and humidity issues. Lots of mold on curtains, rusted out bath fixtures due to lack of fan and circulation, ac smell. Property itself could use some maintenance as pictured from a bit ago (prior to hurricane?). Noise from people up and down stairs at all hours as we were on the 1st floor and they’re metal and no elevator. Had nice little patio and the outdoor cats were the best. Bed is full/double. Internet worked well. Walkable to several restaurants and cafes

Overall, the property is very nice. Tucked away from the main street. Things that couldn’t improve their stay has extra towels to take to the pool in the beaches, which were not provided as a whole. My son and I loved are staying in Tulum and this three bedroom apartment is good for us.

quite area, easy to get to everything. especially if you have a scooter or car. if you want to venture to the hotel area or the ruins, you would be better off with scooter or using the collectivos verses bike.

Great host bad property

The host was awesome and communicated well. The property needs a refresh. It is also very very loud. I could hear everything my neighbor did or said and the stairs are metal so you could hear every time someone walked on them. Can’t recommend.

Très bien sauf la douche, Quand on prend une douche, ça en met partout car il n’y a pas de bac à douche L’isolation : horrible : nous avions des voisins très très très bruyant, télé à fond jusqu’à 00h30, chaises traînées sur le sol ect . Le quartier est pas très sécurisant si on veut rentrer du centre la nuit. Sinon belle chambre, ustensiles de cuisine, sèche cheveux et petits produits de douche offert. Merci
