The terrace with restaurants on the G/F was an unexpected surprise - good if you have you g children who want to run around whilst you finish dinner. But I would not want to be in a room on a low floor on a weekend night given noise from bars. Rooms were comfortable but quite small. Check in we had to wait about 45 mins and our room wasn’t ready until 5:30 (for a 2pm check-in)!

Appreciate hotel upgrade from city view to sea view, thanks for the nice hand drew greeting card and cake offer; welcome drink and late check out arrangement; but overall stay still feel disappointed about small room, no couch inside room, but arm chair and stool only. No soft pillow around, feel very hard inside. Poor sound insulation as we woke at 6:30am because of baby’s screaming from adjacent room. Confusion between staff- staff told us can have a welcome drink at ex- lounge, so when we went to ex- lounge, staff told us to Cafe Lantau, when we went cafe, they said can have drinks in lobby lounge, when we arrived lobby lounge, staff asked us to cafe Lantau..... come on ..... I was wondering I were in food court, finally we had drinks in cafe Lantau. For the food, we tried breakfast and dinner buffet, both are not good, most of dishes are room temperature, not hot enough. Dim sum taste not very good, congee is tasteless; Siu Mai is very dried. When we had a breakfast in ex- lounge, chef said the bun is pork infill, but actually it was a vegetable bun...... At last day, we should pay for dinner buffet, but they can’t found any record, afterward they sent me invoice of the bill but without any detailed description.... well.... All these handling not feel likes Sheraton.......
