「Cat Ba View Hotel may not be the most modern or luxurious hotel, and it doesn't offer amenities like a pool or gym, but what it lacks in facilities, it more than makes up for in hospitality. This is a small, family-run hotel, and Nam, the owner, along with his family, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their genuine kindness, warmth, and exceptional hospitality made our stay memorable. It's the kind of personal attention and care that you rarely find at larger hotels. If...

「The hotel aims to be a diverse resort, but the actual management appears chaotic and inefficient. Staff lack proper training in service, hygiene, and English proficiency, and the maintenance of hotel facilities is poor. Overall, the hygiene standards of the rooms and restaurant do not reach five-star levels, and the quality does not match the price. Unfortunately, this is currently the only upscale hotel on the island.」

「Nice modern hotel with rooftop pool. The rooms were a little under furnished however. It’s set out like an apartment but no cooking pots or utensils. No plates or cutlery. Only 2 cups and 2 teaspoons in a family room. The breakfast was quite limited compared to other places we stayed in the country e.g there was no juice and one fruit served. It was quite quiet so maybe that’s the reason.」

「We had a fantastic stay at Spring Garden Hotel in Cát Bà. The hotel was lovely, but what really made our stay special was the incredible level of care and personal attention from the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, but a special mention has to go to Emma, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She helped us organise trips, arrange taxis and transport, and gave us lots of useful local information and advice. One example really...
