The staff was so helpful, kind and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were clean and had great amenities. We did not use the pool but the patio and pool were very nice to sit out at and look at the sea. The beach nearby was a lot of fun and so beautiful with the cliffs over us.

Nous avons passé un séjour mémorable dans cette très belle maison d’hôtes. Le cadre est charmant et l’ambiance est des plus reposantes. Nous avons eu un incident avec la climatisation de notre chambre, mais le personnel a pris la situation au sérieux et a fait intervenir un technicien pour résoudre le problème. Cette réactivité et ce professionnalisme sont tout à leur honneur. Un immense merci à Wala pour son excellent service, ainsi qu'à Maryam et à toute l'équipe pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil chaleureux du début à la fin. Une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

First of all, I would like to thank Hela and Elya very much. They took such good care of us throughout our stay, we were very pleased. Dar Elyssa is a very nice place to choose in the Sidi Bou Said area. Our room was very comfortable, and we had delicious breakfasts every morning. It's a quiet, pleasant hotel close to everything. It's clean, and the staff are very kind and hospitable. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful first visit to Tunisia. It's a place we would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

Lovely place and amazing staff: welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you Noora, Miriam and Lamjed. The place is spotlessly clean and very well maintained, and across the street from a public beach (which would be more relevant in the summer, though !). A great breakfast spread! And in the evening, I was also given a ride to/from any dining option of my choice.

Bellissima struttura di fronte al mare, ottima colazione espressa, bella piscina e molto apprezzato il servizio auto elettrico per portarci in città alta. Personale e proprietaria molto gentili e professionali. Due sole pecche: 1) non è stata rifatta la camera l’ultimo giorno del nostro soggiorno; 2) l’ultimo giorno abbiamo pranzato in piscina con due ottimi sandwich che ci sono stati offerti dalla ragazza della reception; al check out abbiamo scoperto di dover pagare 30€. A parte il costo eccessivo e fuori contesto, occorre sempre cominciare ai clienti il costo dei servizi; suggerisco di preparare una carta dejeuner in modo da essere consapevoli di cosa ordinare e quanto spendere. Sono però due dettagli per stimolare la struttura ad arrivare alla perfezione. Per adesso 9/10 e speriamo di tornare presto! Super consigliato!

不滿：職員與服務
This is a B&B and not a hotel. I was in the superior room with a king and a twin. At check out they charged me extra for the twin although in the original booking it clearly said King and Twin, so I dont know where the extra charge came from. Water was not hot and I had to take a cold shower. Shower gel given was half used from previous occupants may be. I asked if there is laundry onsite and they insisted they will do it for me without quoting me the price and at the end added it to the bill. It wasn't a big amount but still, it would be nice to quote a price first. There are stairs at the property so you will need help with lugguage. This was pricier than staying at a hotel in Tunis and taking a 20 dinar ride to Sidi Bou Said.
