Upon arriving at 9pm, we were left waiting at reception while the staff member finished a personal conversation. This immediately set the wrong tone. When we finally asked about an evening meal, we were told there was “no availability” because other guests had chosen to dine in. No effort was made to offer an alternative, no solutions were suggested, and we were simply directed to a local pizzeria.
This level of indifference is unacceptable. A 4-star hotel should never leave guests without any dining options or basic consideration. Even a simple gesture—such as offering something light at the bar—would have demonstrated care and professionalism.
We escalated the issue the following morning, yet the response from another colleague only reinforced the same dismissive attitude.
Overall, the service we received was not only disappointing but far below what any guest should expect from a hotel of this rating, this simply ruined our short weekend break.
