"You can't really walk to this airport hotel and need to call to get a shuttle. Although the hotel uses self-service for practically everything, th good news is that staff are on hand and they are very helpful - including the manager. You can eat meals there and if you prefer snacks or fast food there is a garage with a store that you can walk to in 2 minutes. I stayed in a double and although the rooms are small, they are new and perfectly fine for an airport stay. I would have liked a kettle in the room but you can get one if you need it. Parking costs up NKr180 so it's not free. I would stay again if I needed to."
"We loved our night at Narvik Basecamp
The room was amazing with everything we needed for a comfortable stay
Check-in was so easy with Basecamp reaching out to us 48 hours earlier with all of our check-in information so that we could self serve if we chose to
The staff were incredibly helpful and kind"
"The friendliness of the staff and the amazing breakfast are two of the highlights of this hostel.
The breakfast is outstanding and was included in the price I paid. I remember having crumbled ham, grilled potatoes and prawns fried in garlic butter at breakfast, in addition to the usual cold breakfast options. Highly recommended. The cook deserves high praise for the excellent breakfast.
The staff, many of whom are high school students, are very friendly and chatty.
Do remember to pack a pair of flip-flops as shoes are not allowed into the hostel rooms. And the communal kitchen can be in a different wing of the hostel from where you are staying.
The hostel is conveniently close to the bus-stops for buses going to (about 200 meters uphill) and from (just across the road) Bodo/Fauske."
"We stayed here only for one night. The room was slightly cramped for the four of us, two on regular beds and two on a sofa bed that was not too comfortable. Other than that, the room was clean and well equipped. We appreciated the hotel's location within walking distance from the city center. The buffet breakfast was a treat, with a great choice of tasty food. The parking is not free; it has to be paid separately."
