Perfect Stay at Surfbreak

This property served us incredibly while we visited Casuarina for our sister's wedding. The property is very large with fantastic amenities. Our extended families all used this property as the home base thanks to the scale of it as they stayed nearby also. The children enjoyed the pool, while the adults enjoyed their space. The bunk room was a hit! Check in process a breeze, check out process also very easy and the home was a fab location to the beach and nearby shopping centre. Very grateful to have scored this property before other wedding guests snapped it up. May have been a while since anyone had stayed there as the home was a little dusty however- quick vacuum and wipe over soon cleared that up. Super happy with our stay

Fabulous house

Very comfortable house, my girlfriends and I spent 5 relaxing days. The kitchen is really well equipped, beds very comfortable, lots of books and games, just a comfortable beautiful space. The beach is so close, what a location. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend. Couple of small problems which the girls at LJ Hookers sorted out right away, very good communication and management. Thank you!

So much potential ....BUT

This house is great - very spacious, well laid out and the location is fine. Fortunately the problems could be so easily fixed but sadly they detracted from our experience. The house was completely lacking in any basic supplies that I would expect from a short term holiday rental. To begin with - no bed linen or towels and no warning that we needed to bring our own. I believe that after our contact with the agent during which we informed we could hire them from a local supplier the add for the premises has been altered to include that advice (I guess that is a positive). After contact with the local supplier we worked out we could go and purchase what we needed for about the same price, We had to buy sheets, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats etc for all 5 people. They didn't even supply a single tea towel or any dish cloth or wettex so we added them to the shopping list along with soap (there were soap dispensers in each of the three bathrooms but they were all empty). The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, crockery etc but had absolutely nothing like glad wrap, foil, cooking oil etc. The house has a lovely pool but sadly it obviously hadn't been cleaned for some time - the bottom of the pool was hardly visible for the leaves and sticks. There are signs warning not to try to clean the pool yourself so as required we contacted the professionals who are responsible for cleaning the pool - as another plus they did come the same day and thoroughly cleaned the pool. Next problem was the BBQ. We had a hot plate full of chicken which had cooked for about 3 minutes when the gas ran out. Our hopes were temporarily raised by the fact there was a spare gas bottle - but alas, that too was empty. Like I said - the problems could easily fixed but unless they were I would warn prospective guests to be aware of the lack of provisions in the house.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Surfbreak is excellent if you have a large family. The area is very quite and family friendly. It was a 2 min walk to the pristine beach and the home was clean and comfortable. I did not see 1 McDonalds for the 2 weeks whilst were there and I thought that was excellent. Everything is within a 20-30 minute drive that is worth visiting. There is air-conditioning in every bedroom but none in the living areas. The home could use a few extra plug in fans to move the air around the living areas on hot days. Other then that a wonderful place for a holiday.

Surfbreak house

House it's self was big and open. Great location, only 2 mins walk to the beach. Had everything a house needs, bar the fact you have to hire sheets, but we actually brought our own instead of paying a ridiculous fee for sheets. Only main bedroom had blockout blinds, all other rooms had sheer blinds. Main bedroom is upstairs away from other rooms, so if you have young children won't be the best. House in general was great, but cleanliness wise it really does need a professional clean as there were marks all over the place. We had a heap of fun and we did love the house.

Absolutely loved it.This is a real home away from home.Everything you need for a family and so much to do to keep everyone happy.Will definately be back for sure.
