Not What It Looks Like
A large, luxurious hilltop house with spectacular mountain and city views on 1/2 an acre. Not really. Not luxurious. More like a house for 3 adult couples and a lot of kids. The main refrigerator was non-functional and a substitute fridge had been placed in the dining room area. The garbage disposal wasn't working. The bed frame in the master bedroom was broken. The glass on the fireplace was broken. The towels were like sandpaper and very thin. The linens were still drying in the dryer when we arrived at 5 p.m. We had to put them in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, but the whole experience was tainted by the problems. The owner seemed responsive about fixing the garbage disposal. It wasn't possible to fix the bedframe before we left. We had brought firewood for the fireplace and used a big log to prop up the bed. We were hesitant to use the fireplace because of the broken glass screen. We also were very surprised that the owner charges per person for visitors who do not stay on the property overnight. I have been a long-time user of VRBO and never had this experience. We would probably not recommend this to someone expecting luxury.

Great location, star gazing amazing, pool table was a huge bonus for the kids, heated pool was great
We loved the location of this property, took us just 10 minutes to get to park entrance. It has plenty of beds, and the kids loved playing pool at night. I initially declined to heat the swimming pool because it seemed expensive, but quickly discovered that the night temps in the desert require the pool to be heated to be tolerable- and it was a huge bonus once I called and paid for it to be heated - and added a lot to our enjoyment. Bring robes because when you get out of the pool, the night air is so chilly (time of year, March- Spring Break) and robes would have made all the difference. We did not locate any board games at the house. so bring a few for entertainment. Property management communication was easy and great customer service. We would definitely book this property again, was clean, close to town (but still felt private), and had all the basics needed. I was there with family, but could see how this would make a great party setting as well. Only reason for the 4 stars on the accuracy of online listing was that neither of the 2 outdoor grills worked. I did let the property managers know, so hopefully this will be rectified.

Nice place
Definitely had party house vibes and some things were in slight disrepair, fridge etc. But overall perfect for our group who just wanted a place to hang out near Joshua tree. Very clean, pool & backyard are nice!

This was a spacious house with room for all my guests. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked. The only downside was the cleanliness of the property; there was moldy fruit in the fruit bowl and trash in the bunk room.

The house is very nice
The house is very nice. I especially enjoyed the stars at night from the house. It’s has everything you need to have a very pleasant stay. It’s well equipped and spacious. Not to mentioned the pool table and the foosball made it extra fun. This is one of the best VRBO's I have stayed at. We were amazed by the interior and exterior design. Another thing that made our experience even better is that David is a great host, and he goes far and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I recommend a 100% and we would definitely want to come back for a fun and relaxing weekend. Their circular driveway easily parked 7 of our vehicles in our group.
