“The Francis Marion in Charleston is a great hotel. It is located on King Street which is in the heart of so much that the city has to offer. We had dinner one night in the Swamp Fox, which was very good. We had a very spacious room that included a sitting area. The bathroom was a little on the small side. When we returned one evening, we were pleasantly surprised to see a turndown service with chocolates. A parking garage is located right next to the hotel and the College of Charleston was right……

“This property gets a bad rap for being run down. It is but it’s still a clean, well located place to stay. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is delicious. The happy hour is complimentary. The beds were clean and comfy. So much to do around this property. I live the suite concept. It made traveling with my toddler so much easier. This is my new go to place to stay in Charleston. ”
