Amazing short getaway!
My husband and I had a great time at here. Everything is updated, clean and new. We enjoyed the outdoor space using the firepit and sauna both nights. It was a relaxing way to end the evening after a fantastic dinner at Stone Creek (recommended by the owner and only 5 mins away). We loved experiencing the unique outdoor tubs at night and my husband appreciated using one as a cold plunge after one of our morning hikes! The beds are super comfortable (always important when I stay at a rental) and linens crisp and clean and we appreciated the robes that were provided. Hosts were gracious and quick to respond to any questions and the check in/out was simple and easy. We loved our stay and we will recommend to our friends who also visit Lake Arrowhead!

Upon arrival we were inundated with so many rules it made my head swirl. Including a rule on how to write a review. We traveled with three kids so I was excited to have a game room. Unfortunately, the only working item in there was the foosball table. The shuffle board had no sand on the table or in the gutter that could be placed on the table. The darts had no working tips and the hunting game had only one functional gun. When I queried the owner he blamed us for damaging the game room. My kids never even used it. The grills were gross and it was confusing which one to use. The rules said use the front one but the front one didn’t light so we used the back one that had a chunk of old salmon stuck to it. The soaking tubs were filled with debris and unusable. The owner said there was a storm but if you rent your house out , maybe someone should stop by before to make sure everything is up to par. I rent my truck out and would never leave it for a week with no attention before a rental. I tried to clean them out but didn’t want to damage them so I left them unused. I don’t think this property should be on the market since it is not as advertised and clearly no one is local to care for the home. The bedrooms were clean and nice as was the kitchen. Just fyi- trash compactor does not work so when the house keeper is rating us, I hope that doesn’t get blamed on us too.

We apologize for any inconvenience that you experienced, particularly regarding the presence of leaves and debris in the soaking tubs and condition of the grill. The property endured intense storms preceding your stay and posed some unexpected challenges, hindering our housecleaner's ability to address these issues properly. Maintaining cleanliness in the midst of nature's whims outdoors can be difficult, especially after a storm that significant. I'm happy to share that we have taken proactive measures by purchasing covers for the tubs and hope it will prevent such occurances in the future. Regarding the check-out process and housekeeping, we apologize for any confusion. We keep it pretty simple and follow the standards for check-out instructions in the industry. We have taken note of your message about the trash compactor and will ensure that it is plugged in for the future. Thank you for letting us know. We wish that you would have shared the issues you encountered with the game room before checking out so that we could have remedied the situation. We were under the impression that all amenities were in working order as they had been for the previous guest. We have taken note of your concern and fixed those issues. Relaxing Getaway
The owners are so great and very communicative. The place is very clean, and the kitchen is especially high-end (a rare blessing). The knives were sharp, the stove and pans were quality, and you could tell the owners care about this place. The bathrooms were also very quality and clean. The game room is fun and the TV area is cozy (especially with the fire place). The outdoor porch and back porches are also nice, and the windows open up nicely to give a view of the trees. All this made it fun for our family to stay here during the winter. The only heads up for parents would be to have a plan for what to do if they have kids who need to be watched on when on stairs. Being built into the side of a mountain, this place has lots of stairs, so bringing gates or putting barriers up could be a factor. Overall, it was so relaxing!

Beautiful home
The house is big and beautiful, great amenities minutes away from Lake Arrowhead and 30 minutes from Big Bear. Place is cozy and clean. Will stay here next time we visit Lake Arrowhead. Thanks to the owners for the good recommendations, Puglia was delicious.

Christmas stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay. Communication with the property manager was always great. They were always friendly, understanding and quick responders. The cabin was beautiful, clean and accommodated all of us, including our small children. The cabin had everything we needed and more, we fell in love with the sauna! I definitely recommend it! Awesome Cabin!
We loved our stay at Cabin in the Pines. The house is the nicest we’ve come across in our multiple stays around Arrowhead and the kids loved the game room and the cool features all around the house. The host was super responsive and gave us some great tips for the area. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Enchanting cabin. Perfect rustic setting with delightful modern amenities.
Charming home filled with the most thoughtful design which brings a happy warm feeling. Great kitchen if you love to cook! Beautiful appliances. Fantastic soaking tubs outdoors. What a great space! Perfect romantic getaway
My husband and loved our mountain getaway for our anniversary. We chose Meagan’s place because of the outdoor soaking tubs and sauna. We loved the rustic retreat experience outdoors and soaking in the tubs at night. The sauna is big enough to fit two, which was perfect for us and heated up very quickly. My husband enjoyed bbq’ing on the deck and drinking wine around the firepit at night. The home is nicely updated and decorated and extremely clean which we appreciated. We are looking forward to returning again and bringing the kids to enjoy the game room!

Everything You Need for an Enjoyable Vacation
This rental was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. Beds and quality linens were above average and the bunk bed for our two grandsons was a big hit! We loved the layout allowing for the two boys and their parents to have privacy upstairs. The two sinks were a big plus, if somebody was taking a shower in the main upstairs bathroom, the kids had their own sink where they could clean up and be on their way. The recliners in front of the T.V. were so comfortable after a full day of hiking, mountain biking and zip-lining, all nearby at Sky World. We enjoyed the deck at night gathering around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. We loved the decor, very cabin-like with all the convenience of a large home with soaring ceilings and lots of natural light. The game room was a lot of fun giving the grandkids another choice of activities. The owners were very responsive and checking in was a breeze. We would most definitely return to this rental for more fun and good memories!

Amazing Place!! Perfect for Family!!
The Cabin in the Woods property was absolutely perfect for our family! Super close to both Lake Arrowhead & Lake Gregory, close to restaurants, shopping, and fun!! The house had everything we could think of we needed for our stay! The accommodations were great for our family including kids (they loved the game room & teepee tent in the bunk bed room) as well as my 86 year old grandmother. We had a blast & could not have asked for a better place to stay! We’d love to come back!!

A Perfect Family Getaway
We stayed for a few nights. This is just the perfect vacation location, perfect house, floor plan and size. The backyard was perfect for the little ones to experience and play in the snow. We were able to eat in and out. I do recommend the Lake Arrowhead Sports & Grille; The Belgian Waffle works and El Pajaro Azul Mexican Grill. We will definitely plan a return vacation.

This cabin was everything we could have hoped for. Very clean and updated. Kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes. Comfortable beds and nice sized bedrooms. The bathrooms had wall mounted magnifying mirrors - great for putting on makeup. Lots of comfortable seating for enjoying the fire and watching TV. Can't Miss Property in Lake Arrowhead!
If you are traveling with family, either to or through, Lake Arrowhead this is your spot. My family and I stayed here prior to Thanksgiving and it was a welcome break forom L.A. Close by is Arrowhead Village and Blue Jay. It's a gem! Quiet and Tranquil.

Lovely Cabin Retreat!
This was a sweet cabin for six of us in our friend group to gather, enjoy meals together, play board games, and just share quality time together. The movie-theme artwork and vintage LPs were a fun touch. Beds were comfy, living area cozy, and kitchen supplies adequately stocked. We drove to a nearby hike, and enjoyed a dinner at a tasty restaurant. Overall, a wonderful weekend getaway; we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for hosting us!

Perfect getaway place
We stayed here for some work we did in the valley. Little bit of a drive to the jobsite, but we'll worth it! This place is real cozy and clean. The outdoor fire pit came in handy for a wind down spot in the evenings.

Fun in the Pine Trees!
We loved our stay at the Cabin in the Pines! It was cozy, comfortable, and exciting. The kids had a blast playing the games in the basement and the big kids loved the record player and vintage vinyl. So peaceful eating breakfast among the pines and having a drink around the fire pit. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked. We'll definitely be back!

Fit our family of 6 perfectly. The house was in a great location close to grocery store, gas station, and Santa’s Village and much more. My kids loved the game room. My only suggestion would be if someone has a small child the two rooms upstairs don’t have an enclosed wall, they are opened shutters so the kids room can hear anyone in kitchen or living room. Might want to put them in the other bedroom but other than that we all had a fantastic time!

Great Mountain Stay
We were in town for a friends wedding, great location and great house. Located on a small dead end street, very quite and peaceful. House was plenty large enough for 6 adults and 1 infant to sleep comfortably. Very clean, nice outdoor space, parking with 3 cars was not an issue, large driveway. Wonderful stay
We had a great stay. The property was clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend this property as long as you’re ok with a lot of stairs. The property is within 10-15 mins drive of lake arrowhead village, Santa’s village/skypark, and a great little playground for the kids.
