"This hotel has is a great location, close to the water and Avalon "Casino". It is located up a steep hill just one long block up from the harbor. We had a spacious 2 double bed room with sitting area, pretty views, and a relaxing patio off the hall. The staff were very nice and helpful. Keep in mind this is an older and very basic hotel, with a vintage feel. There is no elevator, no in room coffee pot, and no place to buy water at the hotel. The room had a tiny shower/toilet bath room and the hot and cold water is reversed in the shower. There is a small refrigerator. "

"We loved this place! Our cottage was exceptionally clean, the grounds are so beautiful and full of character and color. The price was very affordable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the area of town was very quiet. We also enjoyed the historical significance of the cottages, which are over 100 years old. It is a bit of a walk from the main street with some uphill at the end but is doable for those who aren't disabled. Our cottage was certainly not high end, but we didn't expect that for the price. We highly recommend!"
