Great Place

The unit was very clean when we got there, The rental agent was fantastic. It was a pleasure to see a unit that was decorated in nice colors and art on the walls. Alot of condos that we have rented in the past have had very little decorations and art and looked very sterile. The view and access to the beach was great even for a handicaped person. I would not think twice about renting this unit.

Cancer Free Celebration Family Vacation

When we come to Tybee we always stay at Beach Colony and Love It!! We were here celebrating my daughter in law being cancer free after undergoing months of hell. This Condo was even better than the pictures!

So relaxing

Absolutely loved our stay. I took 3 of my teenage/young adult kids for a 5 day stay on Tybee Island and a day trip to Savannah. The room was great. The pools were warm- could swim after sundown no problem. The restaurant was fantastic! The food was amazing. Everything was so easy and comfortable and fun. I would love to come back again.

Loved it!

We love visiting Tybee. This is our first time at Beachside Colony. We loved the convience of having pools and a restaurant right there. And obviously the beach so close! Condo was perfect.

Love Colony Bay

We have always loved staying at Colony Bay. The unit was nice and met our needs. Housekeeping could pay more attention to their cleaning efforts. Also maintenance guy entered without our knowledge. Just happen to return to room and found him inside. A call to notify of his coming would have been nice.

A Great Time On Tybee Island

The Condo was even nicer than the photos with great views of the pools and the ocean. It was in a great location, we could walk the beach to the pier and to a view of the lighthouse. The beach was great and well maintained and the pools were clean and steps away to enjoy. There are many cute shops on Tybbee Island and Savanah was about a 20 minute drive, just as the website said. We truly had a great time!

Beautiful view on a beautiful beach

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit is clean and accommodating. Comfy beds and updated appliances. The pools are on the small side but fortunately it was not crowded during our stay. The poolside chairs are super comfy with fitted cushions so staying by the pool all day was not a problem. Overall, this is an awesome place to stay right on the beach with a beautiful view.

The garbage disposal didn't work and the shower in the guest bath leaks. Other than that, it was clean and we had a great view!!

Great location

The condo was at a great location, loved that the beach was just a few steps away from the condo. The condo came with towels. The check-in process could've been easier and digitalized. Picking up printed instructions for a later check in was not ideal. The condo wasn't the cleanest but the property management was nice and came the next day to clean. Overall, a good stay, good host and great location.

Fantastic stay!!!

We had a couple issues with the tv, which was a bit annoying, was taken care of right away once we called. Also the dishwasher wasn't easy to use. We did enjoy the view, location to the beach and to the pier. We walked most of the time while on the island. Called uber for ride into Savannah. It was nice to have the pools and restaurant right there. The unit was verily quiet. It is too bad some of the condiments could not stay (sugar,salt and pepper) . Overall had a great time and would recommend Beachside Colony's.

Great condo!

The condo itself was perfect. Clean. Well stocked. Nice decor. Comfortable. Great views and access to the pools and beach. It was however difficult to find the rental office to check in and very confusing to find the unit. The Vue is not well marked nor is the condo because the condo numbering convention was not clear. 237 was on the 3rd floor. Go figure. Once I found the unit the stay was perfect and I would stay again. Thank you!

Great place for families

This is our second time staying at Beachside Colony and we love it! The location is perfect, on the beach, 2 lovely pools, The Deck restaurant on grounds, quiet end of the island, it’s all just perfect for us. My one complaint has to do with the fact that the wifi did not work in our unit for the entire stay. On the day we arrived I let the property manager know, they said they would put in a work order. Nothing was done about it the entire week we were there. I checked back in at the end of our stay and they said they would check the status, but again, nothing was done. It was a minor inconvenience, but definitely annoying.

Spring Getaway Great Beach Views

The condo was nice and as described in the listing. The beach views were great. This unit is facing the pool luckily it was too early in the year for a lot of noise. Although I don’t think you could hear it in the unit just on the balcony. We could also see and smell the restaurant and the food and drinks there were awesome. You can walk right up to the bar order a drink and go back to the pool just like on a cruise ship. The parking is weird. We had to drive around a couple of times to make sure we were not parking where we were not suppose to and as close to our unit as possible. As stated follow the instructions on how to pick up your packet. Google does Not know the address and we went right by it and we were looking for it. There were orange cones everywhere when we arrived on Sunday which made it difficult to navigate the roads and pull out in traffic. We were told it was for emergency vehicles only. You have to pay to park Everywhere! We had hoped this unit was close enough to walk to North beach and South beach but it was a little over a mile both ways. But you can walk to the sugar shack and get ice cream. This did make this part of the beach quieter so you just have to decide Peaceful? Or parking? Over all a great stay and we might stay hear again due to the restaurant and pool or look for something closer to South beach

Relaxing getaway just steps from the ocean

This place is as advertised and more. We had a remarkable fun and equally relaxing week during our stay on Tybee Island. The Tybee Island Vacation Rental office was great. They sent out a welcome package with all the necessary information (directions to the office, condos, what to bring, etc.) two weeks in advance, and had everything waiting for us once we arrived. I will admit, when we first got to the condo, I was a little nervous. That went away almost immediately upon entering the place. Very nicely decorated and very clean. The outside deck view is exactly as you see here. The only issue I had with the condo at all was two of the balcony seats were pretty old and starting to tear, but they provided plenty of other seating arrangements so we could enjoy your time watching the sun rise and fall. The staff working at the condo were incredible.. They made sure the grounds and the pools were kept clean at all times, and were quite friendly when you'd talk to them. The bar/restaurant had good food, and several drink options for the adults, and they even provided virgin daiquiris and other options for the kids. My sole complaint - which does not reflect on the condo, owners, or rental company at all - was the amount of flies in and around the pool. Again, this isn't from a lack of cleanliness as I touched upon that earlier. It just seemed to be the way it is, as the bartender even remarked that they're always there. So I would caution one to bring some bug spray. All in all - a fantastic place to visit, a wonderful place to stay, and I would certainly stay here again when we decide to revisit Tybee.

Overall decent place to stay

Check in was super easy. We did get alittle confuse about where to park and go when we first got there but the layout of the property is super weird. Communication with the office was super easy... I was able to text with any questions and they answered immediately. And you could tell they really tried to put effort into ironing out the check in process with precise directions, etc. as I'm sure they know how weird the layout of the property is. Anyways, the beds were pretty comfortable. The king bed probably does need to be replaced as it sinks in the middle. I didn't mind it but my husband grumbled about it a bit. The master bath was great. (Shower walls/corners could have been cleaner). There was a weird smell continuously in the small bath so we kept that door closed when not in use. The living room was ok but I would probably update with much more comfortable furniture. Kitchen was great. View was great. Beach was great. One thing I absolutely did not like was that you called in the middle of the week saying pest control would be by within the hour for routine spraying. I have an infant and a 2 year who loves to play on the floor. I have no idea what this particular pest company uses to spray for pests but generally, from my experience, they use high concentrations of chemicals. I absolutely would not feel safe having my children there during this . This should have been scheduled when guests where not staying there, at least in enough time for chemicals to dry, etc. Anyways, we weren't there when they arrived but my husband was and I had not yet informed my husband of them visiting. My husband had said the guy asked if we needed him and my husband told him he didn't think so, that we hadn't called for them. So In The end they didn't do their routine spraying .. I don't think at least, unless they came in another time when we weren't there. My only other suggestion would be to go in and deep clean and hire cleaners that throughly clean after each visit. Based on the fee you charge to clean, the property should be spotless but the floors were very filthy. I had the urge to go buy a mop all week to clean those floors but reframed bc I was on vacation. We all wore shoes all week long in the house, otherwise our socks were black. Anyways, overall we did have a nice vacation and enjoyed our stay for the most part. Thank you for letting us stay!

Great Condo in a Great Location

Great Condo in the Perfect location! We shared this condo with another couple. We were all celebrating our wedding anniversaries. Spent a couple of days poolside enjoying the weather and the pool side bar/restaurant. The beach wax also very walkable. We walked to the pier for some shopping.. easy drive into Savanah too. Would definitely recommend this place. Had no issues with this condo Except it could use some closets in the bedrooms. Had to live out of our suitcases that we had to leave in the hallway. Overall it was great! Would stay there againWay
