Annual family vacation

We go somewhere every fall, the last 4 years. Usually Florida, decided to try Tybee. Loved the location. Only a few issues, but will go back!

Our stay was overall good! The place is very clean. Only thing that was disappointing was that the pool is so far away and only open during the day. It would be nice if they would have evening hours for the pool. Still unclear as to why this listing can’t use pool on-site as in some pictures in binder at condo and other websites shows that it does allow guests to use pool on site.

Serenity

This property was absolutely perfect for a get away with my two adult children. We were very comfortable with all the creature comforts that were provided. The beds were comfortable & cozy. The kitchen was well equipped. The seating in the living room was conducive to watching tv & easily conversing with others in the kitchen. All in all I give it a 10!

Wonderful

I brought my parents for their annual week to "thaw their old bones" and although this was our first time in this unit with Southern Belle, it was our second visit to Tybee Island. We loved it all. Since we tend to cook quite a bit (lunch out, dine in strategy saves big $$) I was surprised how little cabinet space was available to us in the kitchen but we adapted. Some good cooking tools and I was able to make my folks some great meals! We had to reach out once to get corrected pool and beach access codes and the response was both rapid and useful. Kudos to the whole team. Already looking forward to next year.

Nice complex w/great pool onsite & good restaurant

Overall great stay. The only comments I have are: the pool and beach gate code provided to us in the emails was incorrect. Thankfully our friends were also staying on property and had been given the right one. Listing notes an offsite pool which looks nice in pictures but does not mention the onsite pools which are great and we enjoyed greatly. Condo is very near to the pools and the onsite restaurant has an outdoor bar that can be accessed from the pool area. Pool bathrooms were also great - convenient and clean. The pans I feel need to be upgraded and/or replaced. There are basic utensils but it lacked some things like measuring spoons. More/correct info in the listing and small kitchen upgrades are little things when the rest was all positive! This is a great area with everything one would need very near but also a nice, quiet beach area for our daily use. We would return to this very spacious and nice condo in the future if we ever travel back to Tybee.

Great location and amenities. It is just a few steps from the beach, and has a lovely pool. Beautiful landscaping, and very convenient parking — my husband uses a walker, and encountered few problems.

Beautiful place! It was a great location, center in the middle of Tybee. We rented bikes to ride during our stay, and it was very easy to ride them in and out of the complex.A perfect spot for a family with younger kids!

Condo was great. It met all of our needs and expectations. The only negative was the off site pool. There was only 2 parking spaces. There was pay to pack lot, but it was a hike.

Good place for the beach.

This rental was in a great location to the beach. Pool was a little misleading because it's not located on or close to property. It's actually blocks away shared with many different locations. Other wise overall this was a great stay for a beach vacation.

Great place except….

Everything was great except we were 3 adult women and we picked this condo because it had 3 bedrooms. I drew the short straw and had the twin beds room, which would have been fine but the mattresses were really bad. It was so bad I could feel the springs. I put every blanket in the condo over the mattress and that helped some. Everything else was good!!

More pros than cons

This property is well furnished and looks just like the pictures displayed. It was spacious for my family of 5 adults and 2 small children. I gave a low score for cleanliness due to the roaches in the kitchen and living room/dining room area. We reported it to management and they were quick to send an exterminator the same day, but it did not resolve the bug problem. The overall cleanliness of the property was fine, the bugs were not fine. The swimming pool was another issue. It is a mile away from the property located at another property and extremely inconvenient to get access. Management was very delayed in providing access and we did not get to use the pool during our full week stay. That was very disappointing. The location of the property was really nice being in the middle of the beach and the beach access was great. Overall there were more pros than cons for our stay.
