The unit was exactly as described. Very clean and welcoming. Lots of towels, clean sheets and a super comfortable bed. The view of the ocean was amazing and there was a path/trail directly leading to it. The Unit was labeled “C”, but I should have asked what floor it was on (3rd). Fine for me but if I was much older or infirm it would have been tough. I would definitely stay again!

The views from this property are absolutely stunning. It was so peaceful to watch the sunsets and sunrises from the balcony. This complex was very family friendly and safe and our host was easily accessible when needed. Highly recommend a visit to this property.

Perfect for what we needed!

We came to visit out daughter at SCAD and this was the perfect place. We were close to Savannah but had the peace and quiet of the island as well. Condo was perfect for what we needed for the few days we were there. Spacious enough to spread out, comfy beds and beautiful views. Some things are a little outdated in the condo but everything works well and we had all the amenities we needed. Wonderful stay!

We did have several issues with the property. Wi-Fi didn’t work the first 4 days. Our bed had to be reworked twice. Glass table tops from the dining table and coffee table were stashed under our bed along with new flooring which caused our bed to creak and sway. It took 4 days for maintenance to find them. We wondered why our tables looked so odd. Anyhow, the unit is old and should not have been rented to us in the condition it was in. We managed to make the best of it though.

NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY

Sometimes I can just walk away disappointed, but in this case, I had to write a review. The smell of this place was unbearable. Like dirty people lived there who fried fish daily. The walls and floors need to be mopped and deodorized. Pet hair all over the floors. The mattress felt like it was fished out of a dumpster. I saw one review after I had booked that warned people not to rent. I was nervous then, but moved forward because of the other glowing reviews. I am not sure who wrote these, but they were not aligned with our experience. Then the beach. The host had no control over this part, but it was awful too. It was a graveyard of die jellyfish all along the beach. It felt like the apocalypse. No one is taking care of anything along the beach. It's not worth it to rent here. I'm sorry, but I had to let people know. Traveling away from home, host should take pride in providing something nice. If you are just going to take consumer's money just because you can is also the reason I wanted to let others know the real truth about this unit. Clean it up!

Perfect location!

We loved our stay! The unit was in a perfect spot with gorgeous views from the balcony. We enjoyed the beach, pool and the property overall. Great local restaurants close by. Tybee Beach Rentals went above and beyond when we realized my son left something in the unit upon our departure and they quickly located the item and mailed it back to us! Cannot thank them enough!! I would recommend future renters bring a hair dryer, as there wasn’t one in the unit. Also, the owners may want to consider changing out the rugs, as they shed a good bit.

Great Propety

Great place with a great view. All the amenities of home. Only complaint was the parking spot for our unit was very small, and we only have a midsize SUV. We had to move the vehicle in and out to load and unload people and goods because there isn't enough room to open doors.

Much needed get away

Beautiful location and beach loved proximity to Savannah combined with really nice beach vacation. Unit was in good shape and clean. It could have a few more amenities like beach chairs, beach towels, laundry detergent as we flew in for a short stay but these were minor things.

Fantastic location and community!

The location is fantastic and waking up looking at the ocean was wonderful. We saw dolphins pretty much every day, and the beach is only a few steps away, which is great given that public beach access on the island seems to come with paid parking. Having access to the swimming pools was a big plus. We really had a great time and had no complaints about the unit.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, DIRTY, FULL OF BUGS, NASTY AND LACKS HYGIENE! AWFUL!

The minute we walked in we could smell the mold and mildew smell. The living room sofa was beyond dirty, it was smelly and disgusting, it belongs in a dumpster. The floors were not swept of mopped. There was dust and hair everywhere, The linens where certainly not washed properly, or not washed at all! There is and infestation of bugs! The washer and dryer have seen better days! They only provided the linen that was on the beds and 4 towels. It’s visible they do the bare minimum and then charged up the place. The pictures on the website are nothing like what the condo really is! I called management to get a mop to clean the floors and they called back stating they didn’t have any extra mops! I spend my first night cleaning so we could at least sleep and make sure there was no other rottens or insects! We will be reporting this to the Dept of Health and the appropriate State Authorities, they stole our money!

Tybee Island Beach Vacation

My family enjoyed our stay here immensely. Yes, it was hard bringing groceries and luggage up to the 3rd floor, but worth it for the view! The beach is beautiful and not overly crowded. Loved the pools and the grills for guests to use right by the pools. Would stay here again.

Beautiful location

Incredible views, very quiet and peaceful location. Place was clean and well stocked. Only complaint was that master bed sagged in the middle. Apart from that would definitely stay here again.
