A wooden cabin with a covered patio, outdoor seating, and a fire pit.

1. Blue's Barn

Nellysford

"The cabin is cute, but the property beside it looks down on the cabin so not much privacy or a view. There's no dishwasher, oven, or even a hair dryer here. When it rains the water turns rusty, thus is not drinkable and they don't leave bottled water for you or offer to help with that so that limits showers, toilets turned rusty, couldn't make coffee etc. The property was a little overgrown when we arrived as well. But a person came while we were there and cut the grass."

Howard Johnson by Wyndham Staunton

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was especially since they upgraded to larger tv’s. Even though I asked for a refrigerator and microwave of which was in the room, I feel they should be standard. Because last year I didn’t have it in the room but was told to request it on my next visit and I did. I’ve been coming to this Howard Johnson for roughly twenty years and I seen the progress each year. It is in a great spot of Staunton which allows my wife and I to walk downtown. No parking issues."
