Enjoy the view through the large panoramic windows at any time whilst you relax together on the comfortable sofa. On cooler days, you can light a fire in the wood-burning stove or unwind in the cosy warmth of the sauna.



Step outside in the morning, take in the fantastic view of the Skjoldafjord and take a refreshing dip in the sea. A short walk takes you to the jetty, from where you can set off on a fishing trip or an exploration of the tranquil fjord landscape. The children can let off steam on the trampoline and on the swings.



Go on a variety of hikes in the mountains around Tysvær and discover the unspoilt countryside. Haugesund, with its maritime charm, and Karmøy, with its endless sandy beaches and charming coastal villages, are well worth a visit. The Himakånå rock formation, known as the ‘Little Troll’s Tongue’, is also a lovely destination from which you can enjoy spectacular views over fjords and lakes.
