“This beautiful hotel is very grand and is still very classy. It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. The staff are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. ”

“We unfortunately stayed for just one night on Thursday, 23 October 2025, on our way back to Joburg, but it was a truly perfect experience, just as we had hoped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is beautiful, safe, and enveloped by a lovely forest. We were overjoyed to receive an upgraded room for our special occasion, celebrating my partner’s 64th birthday, which made our stay even more memorable.

“We loved our stay at Kings Waldon. We wish Marike and Hannes all the best in all their endeavors. Walter and team were helpful and friendly. The views are magnificent, the gardens quite stunning.
