"My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The hotel was very pretty and clean. We were disappointed in the service for it being a boutique hotel. The whisky bar was unexpectedly closed when it should have been open. We ordered room service for breakfast the night before and it arrived over an hour late, after I called twice in the morning to inquire. At one point my husband was ill and needed an ice pack and they did not have one. We asked for extra linens and were sent one rough pink blanket that looked like it came from a hospital. We did visit the pool and spa which was very nice, and our breakfast was delicious (once it arrived!) The room was nicely appointed and the bathroom and shower in particular was very nice and clean. Overall it was a nice stay, but for the price and for the hype it was a disappointment. "

"This is was the perfect stay, I was there for a Gala event hosted by The Crown Prince of Ethiopia His Royal Highness Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie, at The Army and Navy Club. I chose Club Quarters due to its proximity, as the event was across the road. My flight getting in to DC was cancelled so I was a day late for Check in, although my family was able to check in on time. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure I was well taken care of on my arrival, equipping me with my room key, internet access and showing me all the fantastic amenities. I particularly loved the eco conscious ethos at Club Quarters, water stations were equipped with refillable water bottles instead of disposable paper or plastic cups and bathroom amenities like conditioner, shampoo lotion etc were also eco friendly and refillable. Stand out Staff member, Missy was exceptional. She went above and beyond to insure our stay was perfect in every way, she made great recommendations on places to eat, sights to visit and her personality was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I was even able to leave my luggage at Club Quarters after check out, as my flight out of DC was later on the evening. 5 stars all around and when next I’m in DC I will most definitely stay at Club Quarters. "

"No complimentary breakfast offered. We thought the rooms were very small. We did not appreciate being charged more than advertised simply at the whim of the hotel stating it was because of seasonal rate hikes. That was totally unexpected & very extravagant. "
