When you first arrive, you are greeted by a beautifully landscaped yard with both a side and back deck, there is also a fire pit, a horseshoe pit, and a basketball net in the driveway. “The cottage is exactly as pictured—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Just a 5-minute walk to the beach and 5-minute drive to town and groceries. The owner, Dana, was great with communication. Thoughtful extras like a beach wagon, board games, and washer/dryer made our stay so easy. Our kids loved the backyard, and we loved the convenience. Would definitely recommend and stay again!”

“This cute little house is PERFECT for a romantic getaway. Tons of privacy, cozy rooms decorated with an artists touch. Everything was really nice and updated. Lake Huron is only 12 minutes away. We were blown away with how inexpensive this place was for how nice it was. We ABSOLUTELY plan to book next year around the same time. Really nice host and really nice home. ”

Mike was here within an hour or so when we requested more wood, and was super nice and welcoming. The neighbor by the beach wasn't as great, just stay off their property on the way to the beach.”

“A quaint and lovely cottage/home with beautiful flowers in the yard from which amazing scents drifted in the open windows as I drank my morning coffee and read my book on the screened in porch. Everything was very clean and cozy. So relaxing. We were very near many things, the beach and pier, restaurants (don’t miss Beachy’s), stores and then walk to the DQ for an evening treat. “Great space for family. The beach is steps away and amazing. Close to activities in both Caseville and Port Austin. We will be coming back next year. Only negative would be air conditioning. The small unit in the bedroom was not enough to cool the cottage. Anyone sleeping in the second bedroom or on the sofa sleeper were uncomfortable. ”
