This place is relaxation and comfort. The room is amazing and I have the personal pool in front which is amazing for random skinny dipping when I feel like it. The place is modern and beautiful. The pools are great and you can’t get better service. Loved my stay here. The spa was also amazing.

This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in as the bed was comfortable, the rooms huge, and the staff was simply amazing. I believe the price of the amenities at the facility were higher than needed to be, but the hotel provides an adequate shuttle (Grab available too) if you’d prefer to go offsite. This was a really great experience.

Nice hotel in Ubud

It is a beautiful hotel, beautiful villas but too far away from Ubud town center I had the 1/1 day board but I did not like the breakfast, dinner was OK As I said it is a nice hotel if you want to relax and stay away from the crows, but it did not make felt in love with it

The property is fairly new so the grounds, rooms and facilities are in fabulous shape. The food was great with a lot of vegetarian options. The staff beyond super helpful and friendly!!!!

A truly enchanting place to relax and revitalize! A great base for exploring Bali. While not within walkable distance to the Ubud town center, the hotel has a shuttle and other taxi options are available. Plenty of activities offered on site too, including rice field tour, Bali cooking class, etc. Would strongly recommend and go back without reservations!

Kappa senses provided the best birthday experience. Amazing services from all staff, to the extent where every morning an employee went over every breakfast buffet option due to my brothers severe nut allergy. They provide amazing activities to learn about the beautiful culture. The spa was fantastic, the photographer is truly gifted. I would highly recommend this place if you want a safe and relaxing experience.

5 Star Luxury in the middle of Nature.

Located in a serene and quieter part of Ubud. We came on our honeymoon and we’re instantly greeted with outstanding 5-star service particularly Juni and Nathan who were extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast overlooking the rice paddie fields accompanied by traditional Balinese music. The pool was fantastic and always clean. The staff were constantly cleaning and willing to help. Outstanding food and experience at Kappa Senses.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kappa Senses - the kind service from staff made our holiday exceptional. If you're looking for a relaxing few days in Ubud, this is the hotel for you. I enjoyed morning yoga with the view of rice fields, a delicious breakfast everyday and also made use of the free shuttle service to Ubud city centre. They also offer a photography shoot where you can choose 1 complimentary photo. Would highly recommend this hotel for all couples - I wouldn't recommend this for families with children as it seemed to be more of a quiet, relaxing hotel.

We stayed in one of the villas with our family of 4. With two separate units and a shared private pool overlooking the rice fields, you cannot find a more idyllic place to stay. It was tough leaving the grounds with the serenity and attention to detail from the staff. The location of Kappa Senses makes it easy for hotel pick-ups if you plan to go rafting and/or the ATV tours. Central Ubud is a 20 minute drive so plan accordingly if you use their shuttle. Otherwise, it's easy to get a taxi.

There was careful thought that went into the property design and details. The room service food options were okay and the menu options could use some improvements. Breakfast menu, restaurant views, room villa (with private pool), and design, along with staff were its best qualities. We will definitely be back. Staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was great. They even did a little something special for our honeymoon! The water did go out due to a burst in the main water line (out of their control) during our stay. We were in the middle of a shower and wasn’t notified of what happened until we reached out to staff. I thought they could’ve done a better job with informing the guest.

This is truly a 5 star hotel. You’re pampered from the beginning to the end of your stay, from the check in to the check out. It’s a brand new hotel, very well decorated, with a very nice breakfast, restaurants, pools and SPA, but what really makes the difference are the people working there. The staff is extremely polite, always friendly smiling and trying to help you when needed. They went above and beyond during my stay. My luggage was misplaced and sent to another airport, and the hotel staff reach out to the airline and was able to get it back in the following day. If you want to relax with comfort, far from the hustle and bustle of Ubud city center (the hotel has a shuttle to the city center that works really well), that’s the place to stay.

Kappa Senses is Exquisite!

Kappa Senses opened in late September 2022 and this new hotel is a dream! They provided the best customer service. They planned all of our excursions, followed up with details on WhatsApp, always remembered our names etc. I stayed in a villa that was beautiful - private pool, comfortable bed, large bathroom, turndown service every night. We also took advantage of the complementary yoga and tour of the neighboring village which was a highlight of the the trip. The spa is also amazing - I got a 60 min massage and it was very relaxing. We had breakfast every morning at the restaurant by the pool and it was such a great way to start the day - the food was delicious and the views were beautiful. The staff went above and beyond. I could not ask for a better hotel or staff - truly the nicest people on the planet. If you are planning a trip to Ubud you must stay at Kappa Senses!

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at Kappa Senses Ubud, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and treated like family. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, showing genuine care in everything they did. We had several early tours planned—Mount Batur, Heaven’s Gate, and Nusa Penida. Without us even asking, the staff packed delicious breakfasts for us to take on these early adventures. This thoughtful gesture made those mornings so much easier and left us feeling incredibly cared for. A special mention goes to Tyara, who made our experience even more extraordinary. She was always cheerful, attentive, and ready to assist, ensuring our honeymoon was as perfect as possible. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness made a lasting impression on us. The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully designed accommodations and serene surroundings that create the perfect escape. I had such a wonderful stay at Kappa Senses Ubud. All the staffs were very pleasant, and they went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I celebrated my birthday at Kappa and everybody went above and beyond to make me feel pampered. Cake at breakfast, petals at sunset and an all-round pampered feeling. All complimentary from the team!! The views all around the hotel just bring a sense of calm. I’d recommend trying the late sunset yoga for amazing views. The Spa treatments were great and there is an amazing view from the spa. The was a great choice at breakfast and the team were always cheerful. The two pool areas are stunning, you can easily spend your day here. I enjoyed every moment of my time at Kappa Senses and I’m looking forward to coming back! 5 star My first visit to Kappa & it won’t be my last, exceeded my expectations. The staff will go above & beyond to ensure your stay is memorable! Like mine The spa is next level Situated Out of town to get away from the hustle bustle of Ubud yet close enough to enjoy a quick dash for a coffee & shop via the daily complimentary transfers The villas are strategically placed amongst the lush surrounding tropical jungle with views over rice paddies & villages! All very private. I was upgraded to a beautiful one bedroom villa room 150 because of the position of the bathroom being on same level, it should be noted that all hot tub villas have the bathroom situated down stairs & could be a problem for some people. The gym is small but adequate Morning or afternoon yoga is on offer but I opted for a private lesson for a small fee well worth it thank you Jana!! Big thank you to Wibi & the front office staff, Ina & the gorgeous spa ladies & the amazing chefs & room staff for taking extra special care of me & my dietary issues! PS the breakfast is to die for with incredible selections! This isn’t the cheapest hotel in Ubud but it’s worth every cent you won’t be disappointed. The little extras pay for itself. So go treat yourself 😍
