7-11 walk 1 minute.Walk to park 3 minutes good for exercise around park walk or bicycle lanes no vehicle traffic food outlets at various places. Can get busy at peak times with people exercising early evening but quiet during day.Park kept tidy and clean.

I stayed at Takanta Place over a week during my mum was in the hospital. This place was like my second home. It’s only 8 minutes walk through Nongprajak park to the hospital. I felt really safe and comfortable as home. The owner is so kind, the garden is beautiful, the room is spacious and every corner is super clean. I will stay there again for sure.

first time in UT so wasn’t sure of a good location to stay, but we’ed hired a car to get around, the hotel was fine for what we wanted

The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great! Near a huge park and lake. 7-11 is less than a 2 minute walk. Awesome Sabai Sabai Massage is next to 7-11. The rooms at Takanta are large, quiet, and clean. Wide stairways and halls.

Modern and comfortable

New, modern place. Not near town, 50 to 100baht tuk tuk depending on negotiating skills. But really close to the lake which is lovely and great to walk or jog around in the evening.

A bargain! Great value

An absolute bargain! Stayed here 1 night while passing through. Had expected less for the money, but was very pleasantly surprised. Very nice room, quiet neighborhood, only downside was the distance to city center, taxi's are around 100 baht to central and night marked. Would stay here again!

Quiet corner of a noisy town

The staff were sweet and helpful. The hotel was nice, nothing flashy, just a nice, quiet little room with some lovely restaurants nearby; all I ever really want from a hotel.

Fantastic hotel in Udon

I've been coming to Thailand since 2001 and this is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in within that price category. Beautifully decorated and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, extra pillows, balcony, and fast wifi made for an excellent stay. There's also a kitchen area that guests can use until 9pm. Great quiet location next to a lovely park and a fresh market, and about 20 minutes' walk from the city centre. Staff were lovely too and helped us organise trips in the area. Cannot find any fault with the hotel and will definitely be back next time I'm in Udon Thani.

I stayed in TAKANTA hotel for three days, if you need peace and tranquility, that's the place to stay at. The hotel is very clean and all the rooms have balcony. The staff speaks good English was always helpful if you need help. Quite frankly I vouch for this place, I had a to. If a blast while I was staying there.
