The Quinta itself is very picturesque, high quality and we really liked the mix between high end care and also relaxed ‘at home’ vibe. 「Beautiful Quinta perched on a hill above the Douro River. Rooms were nice, and the breakfast and particularly dinner were excellent. We also did the wine tasting in the store.」

Only certain things were available at certain times, the staff could not provide milk for my coffee in the morning, I had to get it from the kitchen, and apparently they are not the same company. 「Three of us stayed Tabuaco for the vineyard visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; the only main issue is that there's no elevator, so we had to draw our luggage for a couple stairs to reach the lobby and then three floors to the room.
