If you need WiFi, forget this hotel
The hotel was very nice, the buffet breakfast very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, but oh, the WiFi! I haven't had such poor WiFi anywhere else in the world for a decade. As a business traveller, it cost me dearly.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a stopover while doing the trans mongolian express. The hotel was just what we needed after being on the train for 2 nights. The room was lovely and clean, and the bathroom had a bath. Rooftop bar with great views over the city. Great breakfast. Launderette and supermarket across the road. Walking distance to all the sites. Friendly and helpful reception staff. And money changing facility at reception. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Highly recommended.
Had a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi fi was a bit hit and miss. Room did get hot at night so had to open window. Breakfast was a little limited but still adequate BUT best of all was the burger we had at lunch and the two evening meals; one was the pork ribs (actually a chop in the UK) the other was the beef steak. These meals were both fabulous. You often read how good food was but these were truly great, so full of flavour. Would stay at the Grand Hill again just for the food but the bed was very comfortable as well. Hope to be back soon.

Grand Hill Hotel was the right place for me.
It was a lovely place, well priced and staff very helpful and friendly. There should have been a complimentary shuttle service for airport pick up and drop off, other than that I had a most pleasant stay. Every time I didn't have time for breakfast they prepared for me a bag of goodies to go. The ladies and gentlemen in the reception area were accommodating for any queries and always with a smile.

Great new hotel. Especially good after being out on the steppe for 10 days. About 10mins from the monastery, another 10 to State Department Store and another 10mins to the main square.

위치는 별로지만, 직원들 전부 한국말 잘 하고 방 넓고 쾌적해요. 건물 내에 한식당이랑 커피숍 있고 편합니다. 5분거리에 펍이나 술파는 음식점 많아요. 굿굿

Veldig bra hotellfasiliteter. Moderne og rent. Veldig hjelpsom stab i resepsjonen. I restauranten på toppen var alt bra, men det gikk litt sent med betjeningen. Anbefales!

Ulan bator is a crazy city, so you cant expect a hotel like this in a neighborhood like that. the hotel its very very goood, great service, kind people, very helpfull.... the location is like whatever, but ist relative close to the main square, and you have a convinience store very close. internet do not work very good at night.

Ich bin etwas irritiert, da sich meine Erfahrung mit dem Grand Hill Hotel nicht mit den Berichten anderer Reisender decken. Mit meinen beiden Kindern hatte ich auf dem Rückflug von Japan nur eine Übernachtung gebucht. Mir war klar, dass es in der Mongolei andere Qualitätsstandards als in Europa gibt, trotzdem empfand ich den Aufenthalt als unangenehm. Wir hatten einen Pick up Service gebucht, der hervorragend klappte. Was mich am meisten störte war die Umgebung des Hotels. In den Straßen stapelte sich der Müll und direkt neben Gebäude gab es ein großes Neonschild mit der Aufschrift „Striptease“. Der Fahrer erklärte mir, dass das Angrenzende Haus ein „Love-Hotel“ sei. In der Lobby selbst saßen Männergruppen, die uns schweigend taxierten, als wir eintraten. Die Rezeptionistin war kühl aber nicht direkt unfreundlich. Das Gebäude selbst wirkte nicht so elegant wie auf den Fotos, das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Kleinigkeiten wie verschmierte Scheiben, nicht funktionierende Fernbedienung und eine leicht defekte Toilette störten nur ein wenig. Die Irish Pup hatte gutes Essen, die Toiletten auf diesen Stockwerk waren allerdings sehr dreckig. Ich hatte für drei Personen gebucht, es gab allerdings nur zwei sehr schmale Einzelbetten. Nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen bekamen wir eine Decke für die Couch. Wir hatten Frühstück für drei Personen gebucht, bekamen aber nur Gutscheine für zwei. Ich zahlte auch nicht für ein drittes, da mir der Appetit eh vergangen war.

깨끗하지만 조금더 싸도 될듯~
도심지까지 거리는 조금 있는편이지만 깨끗하다~방이 너무 붙어있고 사이즈가 조금 작아 답답한 느낌도있긴하다.청결도는 좋다.호텔 사이즈에비해 가격은 조금 더 싸도 될듯하다~

カラオケがうるさい
カラオケが併設されているホテル。夜遅くまで3階のカラオケの音がうるさく、宿泊者以外もホテルにくるせいなのか深夜に廊下で酔っ払いが叫んでいた。金曜夜に何時までカラオケを営業するか聞いたところ2時までとのこと。苦笑。。周辺の治安もあまりよくないので宿泊者以外の客層も悪い感じ。朝食はほぼ美味しくないので期待しない方が良い。あと頼みごとが全然されない。洗濯物を取りに来てとか、タクシーを明日の何時に呼んでおいてなどのこちらの要望はまったくされませんでした。

由於當晩飛機延至凌晨四時才到達機場，向酒店提出要求更改接送時間，酒店也肯接受，司機態度不錯，房間乾淨，只是酒店的冷氣溫度不能自行調較，比較焗。

Gute ruhige Lage, 20 min Laufdistanz bis centrum
Wir sind mit eine befreundete Familie unterwegs, Inkl. Nadaam fest mit Stadion Besuch. Pferderennen Festival etc. alle Leute sind sehr nett, absolut sicher !!! Hotel Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Mit englisch kommt Mann im Hotel gut zurecht. Insgesamt Sehr 😊
