  • Welcome to Hemlock Hideaway! Your comfy and cozy destination for all of your favorite Potter County attractions. Our location offers close convenient access to all the popular outdoor activities (star gazing, hunting, fishing, hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails), yet also provides all the amenities for just unplugging and relaxing. If you find any of those options appealing, this little cabin is perfect for you! We are situated on 1.5 acres with a serene babbling brook which makes for the perfect morning coffee escape. The property also backs up to state forest land and is very close to state game lands. Plenty of trees surround the property for shade and seclusion. You will have some Verizon cell phone access, and TV available if wanted, but it is also a great place to unplug and relax. The property offers convenient access right from US Route 6, and has 3 bedrooms, (1 with double bunks), 1 bath, full kitchen, a sleeper sofa, and a laundry room.

The outdoor portion of the property is gorgeous in September. The view across the creek was like a painting. The gravel driveway and open garage offered excellent protection from any mud. The gas grill and the picnic table on the patio and the chairs on the porch provided a very convenient and comfortable outdoor dining area. The interior layout is very efficient, and the laundry room is much appreciated. The gas range and hood vent in the kitchen worked perfectly. The refrigerator and freezer are very spacious. There are also plenty of dishes, utensils, and linens for guest use. There are two full size couches and one love seat, so there is plenty of seating for everyone. The three bedrooms are spacious. The third bedroom is a bunk room, and the surprise is that the bunks have double size mattresses. The property is close to three different towns, and there are several diners and cafes within 20 minutes. This is a very comfortable cabin and I would come back again.
