This was one of the cleanest, most well-maintained vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The view was spectacular. The only drawback was the very busy road separating the main house from the boat house.

Amazing views, lovely home

We had a wonderful time staying here, the views were amazing and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed! Only minor downside was some noise from cars on the road out front, but overall we loved our stay here.

Beyond fabulous

This is not a five star resort with room service or dry cleaning. It is however an experience that I would give ten stars. “Sunsets on the water” is not a filter category and is hard to describe since it’s different every night. If you love the ones you’re with, this is the place to make memories. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful place!

We had a great stay here. The house is spacious and very clean, beautiful view from the living room and kitchen. The boathouse across the street on the beach is really special, we enjoyed talking wine out and watching sunsets there. There are 2 kayaks available for use and life jackets available too. We didn't use the hot tub but we put the kitchen to great use and it was well stocked. My only criticism would be some road noise but that was definitely not a major problem and wouldn't deter me from staying here again. This is a really great place, highly recommend!

Great getaway

Great getaway for my husband and I. Wish the hot tub was covered so we could enjoy it when it was raining/snowing. And it was closw to the road, not very private and not a clear set up for access to and from the house. Wish there was a tv in the bedrooms to enjoy a movie. But we had a lovely time.

Amazing view

The house was spacious and well-equipped in terms of kitchen, games, laundry supplies, etc. we didn’t end up using the boat house as much as I expected because it was extremely hot in there, but it was cool to visit it and to sit on the balcony for a little bit.

Such a great place

We absolutely loved it! House is fantastic; bed was so comfortable. Plenty of toilet paper, body wash, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night. We had a lot of rain, so we spent many hours sitting in the living room with the binoculars, enjoying looking at the herons and the seals. We didn’t spend much time in the bunkhouse because it was pretty chilly in there. But took several walks down by the water. Would book this house again, for sure!

Perfect Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway. Check in was a breeze. The house was clean and comfortable with sensible design and fashionable decor. Morning hot tubbing was a must and so convenient right off the master bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and we made good use of it! Hood Canal dominated the view and offered stunning sunsets. From the cabin, we watched as a mother otter schooled her two youngsters in the art of foraging. We also noticed two adolescent bald eagles who seemed to share our interest in the otter family, although perhaps for different reasons. Harbor seals or maybe sea lions visited regularly, as well. What a great place in such a lovely setting!

Gorgeous view and great little house

The view is gorgeous. Whomever designed the interior of this place has exceptional taste in vintage mid-century modern decor. Its full of gorgeous authentic late 1950's and early 1960's furniture in impeccable condition. The knives in the kitchen were actually sharp and all of the cooking accoutrements were really high quality (Kitchenaid, etc.). The jacuzzi was wonderful to relax in while watching the sun set. The house itself isn't anything particularly special, but it's been done up very well and was incredibly clean. We appreciated the soft towels, and while we didn't end up using the washer and dryer, it was great to have. The TV with surround sound was a treat to watch a movie on. The little cottage across the road on the water is charming, but musty, and we didn't end up using it since it was just the two of us. Overall, no notes! Other than trying to convince the Vacasa property management group to allow us an 11:00 a.m. check-out time (they said no), it was absolutely flawless!
