Healing under the stars
From the campfire built for me to the glamping-style convenience, in such a serene environment was just what the doctor ordered. Tracey and Christopher are very kind hosts who enjoy sharing their slice of paradise. The easy-moderate hiking trail and super tiny private beach is awesome. The dog bowls/towels for Honey was such a special touch! I hope to return soon.

It was great nice to be able to hear nature out side. The open (screened) roof center was great for laying in bed looking out. Wonderful people we will be back.

Quiet retreat away from the city
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the yurt! Tracey and Christopher were very friendly and my wife especially loved the late night bath after a cold winter walk. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet escape or to look at the stars on a clear night!

Unique and Relaxing Getaway
We loved our stay at Tracey and Christopher's yurt and would absolutely recommend it. They were both very friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home and very comfortable. They were also very helpful and went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable. Instantly, we loved the yurt's unique decor and space. It is an authentic Mongolian yurt shipped to Canada. Tracey and Christopher have thought of everything and even had little extras, like incents, a bottle of wine, epsom salts for the bath and more. The claw foot bathtub was amazing, and extremely relaxing with the twinkly lights on and an incense burning! The bed was extremely comfortable (an Endy bed). The kitchen has everything that you could need - utensils, french press, coffee maker, etc. The BBQ was very easy to work. Wifi works great, it's very fast (it's Starlink), and if you feel like watching tv it is there with Netflix and cable! There is a firepit to use in the yard and Tracey & Christopher tried to set a bonfire up for us but the weather didn't cooperate. Another example of how they go above and beyond to make their guests happy! The location for us was perfect - a quiet getaway away from the highway, but close enough to provincial parks in the area. The area and small towns are also very cool to explore and check out. Guests have access to a private beach, canoe and there is also a public beach in nearby Port Loring along with a few restaurants. The purpose of our trip up here was to do a 20+ km hike in Killarney and we wanted a relaxing and comfortable place to rest after our big hike. We couldn't have made a better choice than the yurt, it was perfect for what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. It was an experience all on its own and would be worth the trip up just to experience a luxurious yurt stay. We hope to go back and experience it again, with some snow! Thank you both for the wonderful and memorable stay! Jacklynn & Kevin.

Hidden Treasure on Seagull Lake
Our two day-getaway at Fish’s Yurt was super relaxing and beautiful—it is truly a one-of-a-kind getaway. The owners, Christopher and Tracey, were helpful and responsive. They allowed us to arrive early to their premises and came to pleasantly greet us when we arrived. The yurt itself is made in Mongolia and is the perfect size for two people. Inside it was tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and laden with generous treats including incense, tea & coffee, granola bars and even a bottle of wine! The bed is large and luxurious and the claw-toe bath/shower and compost toilet made our stay very comfortable. Fish’s Yurt stands to the side of a well-mown grass clearing with the owner’s house nearby. Seagull lake is just a few minutes walk away and it is perfect to explore—especially the wild Crown land— using the aluminum canoe that is provided with the rental. Christopher and Tracey were always very accommodating and helpful. Christopher allowed us to hop on top of his ATV so he could show us the woods around the premise; Tracey was always present and helped us when we needed to borrow a tote bag for a hike. They were exceptionally warm-hearted hosts and clearly care a great deal about their guests. I would recommend Fish’s Yurt to anyone who is interested in a unique, beautiful getaway…..it was one of our best trips ever and big thanks to Christopher and Tracey :)
