This was, hands down, the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Costa Rica. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but we had the pleasure of being the only guests, so Roger and Rosy treated us like family. The hotel is conveniently located if you are visiting Tenorio Volcano and Río Celeste, although it is not right next to the main road. You have to drive about 10 minutes from the main road to reach the property. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so if you don't plan to have dinner at the hotel, you'll need to drive back to the main road to find somewhere to eat. 「There are not many options in this areas. The room was pretty small but OK. The pool was OK but is small too for such a large lodge. Although we were told not to use the towels of the room because there are towels at the pool - there were no towels refilled. No problem for us but not the service promised. The restaurant prices looked OK - however, we decided to drive to the little village nearby. Breakfast in the hotel was definetely too expensive. It is OK to stay here but if we would come back...
