“Nice home that was exactly as advertised.”

“Great communication with the owner.Place was spotless.Very beautiful relaxing setting but close to town for our family trip”

“I'll always say the price was too high on any property I stay at, so don't let that put you off. This is a nicely furnished, well maintained, and very quiet property.”

“As a custom home builder I craft intentional spaces for a living. In my humble opinion this home absolutely hit the mark. The home was well thought out and SO peaceful. I was there to see family, but may go back just to read a book on the day bed in the sunroom. It was surrounded by sliding doors nestled in a canopy of tree tops. Felt like heaven. I don’t remember sleeping that well. Joe and Craig were consummate hosts. We had everything we needed and they were very communicative. 10/10, would……

“It was clean and very comfortable!”

“If you like history this place is a great place to stay! Preserved very well. Very clean and unique property we hope to visit again our next time in town!”

“Unbeatable location and amazingly clean and beautifully decorated property.”

“It waa ok”

“Our stay here was extremely disappointing and honestly stressful. From the beginning, the property did not feel safe, which we raised concerns about, but nothing was done to address it. During our stay, our truck was vandalized (egged), which only reinforced the lack of security in the area.To make matters worse, the host was not helpful when issues came up. Communication felt dismissive rather than supportive, especially when we were already uncomfortable. Instead of trying to make things……

“Lovely historic cottage within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. Property was updated while preserving the historic charm. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.”

“This stylish loft right on Mount Vernon's historic square exceeded every expectation and is the perfect home base for exploring Knox County. The space beautifully blends historic charm with spotless, modern updates, featuring a cozy bed, thoughtful amenities, and a unique catwalk entrance. The location is completely unbeatable; we parked the car for the weekend and walked everywhere, from the Woodward Opera House to local favorites like Happy Bean Coffee and the Alcove. With a welcoming host and……

“House was great. My only suggestion is AC upstairs. It was pretty warm and stuffy. Would def stay here again!”

“this property is infested with bugs that leave their dropping around every night, there was multiple problems with the property including broken furniture, no storage for luggage, nails sticking out of the floor, unsecured and broken tiles in the bathroom, Lights in the bathroom not working, kitchenette faucet wasnt attached to the sink, the front door didnt seal. After several calls to management and the Air conditioner dying they relocated me to an even worse house in horrible condition almost……

“Clean property and great location”

“The photos are outdated and there is a room missing (the theater room does not exist). The standard beds are comfortable; bunks are okay and a little creaky. The kitchen is skim - many basics were either not working or missing. The coffee pot runs slowly and so do the two other alternatives. There were no large bowls, quirky. The photos present a brighter, lighter place from a few versions ago. I booked this for a staff retreat and many said they felt like we go the Temu verison of the listing.”

“The cabin was beautiful. It's a very nice place to unplug. If you have vehicle that sits low to the ground it may not make it up the drive. Other than that, We enjoyed our stay.”
