「Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De accommodatie was netjes, schoon en groot genoeg voor een gezin. Ook de locatie was ideaal – rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en stond altijd klaar voor vragen of tips. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Kortom: een plek waar we ons direct thuis voelden en zeker nog eens zouden terugkomen. Van harte aanbevolen!」

「This property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. 「Très bel hôtel sur les hauteurs de la ville, personnel serviable. Magnifique vue sur les montagnes. Chambre avec belle terrasse Un peu éloigné de la ville, il faut prendre un tuktuk, cependant l'hôtel nous a proposé leur service. Et la ville est très animée et très sympa. 」

「Fint rent og pent. Ok mat og veldig god service. Plassering er noen hundre meter opp fra Main Street. Og med opp så mener jeg opp. Vi gikk opp denne veien på ca 4 minutter så det var helt greit. Belønningen er ro og en helt fantastisk utsikt. 」

「The staff was really nice and she waited for 30 minutes after our breakfast. She was really nice. The room was nice and clean and walkable to centre and plenty of food options around. I would highly recommend.」

「It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.」

「An amazing experience, sleeping in the canopy of the forest. We saw lots of animals and fireflies at night. Accommodation is basic as you would expect but beds and bathroom were clean. Ella is a 5-10 minute walk away via the railway tracks. Route was easy to find as directed by our host. Breakfast was delicious and filling.」

「This year, I have slept on multiple beds in multiple countries. Colombia, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Ella Green Cottages had the best mattress I've had all year. My first night at Ella Green Cottages was literally the best night of sleep that I had in months. Also, whenever I needed anything, the employees immediately stopped doing whatever they were doing and saw to my needs. Best customer service I experienced in the country. 」
