Attractive property with great pool, close to town
We fell in love with this property and the surrounding area. It has good proximity to Uzes: within a 15 minute walk you are in the centre square (Place aux Herbes) and we enjoyed some lovely meals out or cooked at the property (an outside private terrace is perfect for eating each night) and then wandered in to Uzes after dinner for icecreams and a drink.
The property is fairly basic but clean and well equipped with a pleasant, sunny aspect and air conditioning. It could use more mirrors in the rooms, as six of us fought over the one in the bathroom each night!
It is beautifully situated in a converted farmhouse, alongside a few other similar apartments around a pretty courtyard. A gorgeous, generous pool is for all to use and no one frowned at our exuberant children enjoying the inflatables. (Tip: it is quieter for adult swims in the mornings and over lunchtime)
The owner does not speak English but was very tolerant of our halting French, helpful and kind.
Do note: linens and cleaning are not included, so set aside another 100 Euros if you wish both to be provided. We opted to clean the property ourselves at the end of our stay, which was easy to do.
We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely holiday.
