We were pleasantly surprised by the upkeep of the hotel. It’s relatively new and modern with interesting decor. The staff was polite and the guy gave us a complimentary upgrade with regards to the view of the room, although it wasn’t a complete upgrade. We were facing the back of Vail Hospital. It’s located in Lionshead Village entrance and has a busy stop at the back with a little short walk, which is the most convenient way to visit the town since it’s all pedestrian. It doesn’t have any breakfast options inside, which was a downer, neither do the rooms have microwave to enable having your own. You have to go to the main town to grab breakfast. Pools weee nice and clean and the landscaping well maintained. It’s a good location, a bit of a walk to Vail Village but doable, except for Sunday, there is a farmers market in Vail Village and there is no bus service and it was tiring to get back to the hotel, so keep that in mind. Overall a pleasant stay.
