When we arrived, we were unsure of where to park. We stopped in the office on location and were given a pass but told that our reservation was not through them and if we needed anything else that we need to contact Vacasa directly. It started off positive, we were able to get into the condo early and the space appeared clean. We received a welcome text and a text asking us about the cleanliness. We did notice that there was no storage for skis/snowboards, boot, winter gear, etc--I did reach out to Vacasa to confirm whether or not there was a place to store since there were lockers in the hallway. Our unit did not come with access to any storage. We went into the village and had dinner. When we were going to bed, we noticed that all of the bedding was dirty. Multiple hairs and crusty spots, a ton of fuzzies all over, plus one of the mattress protectors had a huge urine stain. We reached out to Vacasa via text originally and were told that no one was available until the next day. We called and spoke to a representative that said he would contact management. We emailed multiple pictures/videos during our conversation per request by representative. He told us that we should probably start washing the sheets ourselves since there was a washer/dryer available and he was unsure of when a manager would call us back. We did end up washing all of the bedding (and staying up far later than expected after driving 11 hours). The next afternoon around 3:30pm, the cleaning crew showed up with new sheets to change the beds. They did not bring new comforters. They apologized for the inconvenience and left. We decided that we were going to let this ruin our trip and dropped it. The location is pretty good. Short walk to Lionshead Village, quite a bit further to Vail Village but not bad and there are buses. Parking is outside and not covered but close to building entrance. Hot tub and pool were nice--there were no pool towels in this condo. We saw people in hot tub with towels and were told that their unit did have pool towels available. If we go to Vail again, we will not be staying in this unit. We did also request some sort of compensation for first evening of cleaning all of the sheets ourselves and we never heard back from a manager or anyone to address our request.
