Chez Mélanie are two chalets on the slope of Mt. Talinis, in the town of Valencia. The town is often called the "Tagaytay" (Manila's summer town) of Dumaguete because many who come to Siquijor, southern Cebu and Dumaguete, prefer to stay here, due to its cool weather. At the start or end of the day, you can wade in the plunge pool where water comes fresh from the mountain.

Each chalet at Chez Mélanie is rented separately. Wired Internet and WIFI is available too. An outdoor grill and gas stove is shared between two units. A large tower and water treatment system assure a strong pressure and flow of clean and fresh water.
