Lakeside is a 3-bedroom detached villa set in a private garden on the banks of a saltwater lake in a delightful valley location behind Darkwood Beach. The valley is peaceful and serene and surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks. Darkwood is an idyllic and very scenic beach, an island favourite and certainly one of the most photographed beaches in the Caribbean.

The accommodation is over two levels with the 3 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms on the ground floor and the living area, veranda and kitchen on the upper floor. Two bedrooms open to a large sundeck with a step down to the swimming pool and sunbathing area.

The villa offers plenty of comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area, a fully-equipped and well-proportioned kitchen, and a small utility space with clothes washer and dryer. There is an impressive veranda area that offers plenty of room for dining and relaxing.

There is private parking for up to 4 cars at the side of the villa and it should be noted that car rental is strongly recommended for stays at Lakeside.

Great house in an amazing location

We were a group of six (3 adults, 3 kids under age six).Main floor is excellent, three great bedrooms with perfect mattresses.Upstairs has a great kitchen plus indoor and outdoor living.We were a short drive to ten different beaches and plenty of restaurants.The host is very responsive and great to work with.

Clean safe peaceful self catering. Stunning views of the mountains from the pool.

Nice place, car hire essential for exploring. Learned to swim in the beautiful private pool. Had a lovely time here. We’re familiar with Antigua so we knew where to go for shopping essentials but if you’re not a small welcome pack of snacks and beverages might have been useful after a long trip. All staff/ management were friendly and professional. Neighbours were friendly too.
