Perfect holiday home

This place is amazing, plenty of space gorgeous pool and close to shops. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and the kitchen is filled will bundles of accessories which is great for larger families. I would fully recommend booking this place :)

Lovely rural gite

Very spacious rural gite. Lots of things provided, pool table, ping pong, pool was warm and the steps down into it were a lovely surprise. Bedrooms were great for bigger families. Damien and Jennyfer were very helpful and accommodating.

A fantastic home in a superb location. Close to amenities yet isolated. The property is very well equipped and spacious. A great pool, games room and grounds. Excellent hosts, Jennyfer and Damian made us very welcome. Recommend the carriage ride.

Stayed here with my family and my brothers (4 adults and 5 children in total ages 7-15). We had a really great time. The facilities include a pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, petanque and a nice BBQ. It was perfect place for us all to spend time together. The pool is a little too deep for very small children to stand in (maybe 1.2m deep) BUT there is a small shelf around the sides just below the waterline which I think makes it a great pool to learn to swim in. With arm bands or a float jacket a small child could easily get in and out and at only around 4m across width ways it's a good distance for a small child to attempt their first swim going from shelf to shelf. There is a large washing machine and dryer for your clothes and plenty of cooking equipment. From here we visited Puy De Fou, Terra Botanica and Nantes (to see the castle and Les Machines). We had a great time on all three trips. We really enjoyed staying here. It was about a 6 hour drive from the Eurotunnel terminal in Calais.

Wonderful Rural Gite

We had a lovely stay in this fantastic Gite with friends and family. The property had enough space for a large party to spread out with activities for those that like games indoors or outdoors. The pool was a great addition to the property especially as the weather was very warm. The kitchen was a good size to be able to cater for a large group with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The gite is in a rural location but the nearest supermarket and town are only a 5 minute drive away. We would highly recommend this property and loved meeting Jenny the owner. She also runs carriage rides through the forest which was a lobely evening activity for our group to enjoy. A wonderful rural gite.

Grand gîte

Le gîte est assez grand pour que chacun ai son indépendance. Si le temps n'est pas de la partie, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour s'occuper même en hiver avec le billard et baby-foot. Le calme est aussi au rendez-vous pour ceux qui veulent se reposer.

A wonderful home-from-home

Our two families spent a wonderful 10 days at La Marzelle. The kitchen is very well equipped, with more than enough cooking and eating items provided. For outdoor living, there are plenty of outside chairs, sun loungers and a very impressive table. There are lots of sources of entertainment with a pool table, table football, petanque, table tennis and some board games available. The pool is a nice size, and although the water was a little bit cold when we were there, it was pleasant enough to use. The gite is a great set-up for multiple families or a group of friends as it's large enough for everyone to have their own space. It's in a quiet location but only a 5 minute drive from a large supermarket, which is very handy. The weather was hot when we arrived and discovering an air-con unit in the adjoined children's bedrooms in the attic was a welcome touch!
