The bedroom is equipped with a Queen sized tempur-pedic mattress and combed cotton high thread count sheets with fluffy shams, duvet and pillows. A warm spacious and cozy retreat.
Excellent furnishings in this one bedroom private entrance suite.
A bright 750 sq. ft suite with 4 large windows with screens.
All rooms have thermostats and electric baseboard heating. The suite has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a full-sized washer and dryer laundry room in the suite; a large dining area; a livingroom area equipped with big screen TV and Rogers cable; a workstation area with free WiFi.
SKIERS take NOTE: Only 10 minutes to the nearest Coastal Mountain skiing at Grouse Mountain; 15 minutes to Cypress Bowl ski mountain; 30 minutes to Mount Seymour ski lifts. Only 1 Hour and 30 minutes to Whistler / Blackcomb Ski mountains.
Sightseeing: only 12 minutes to Vancouver City Centre by car, 30 minutes by bus and Seabus to Vancouver city centre. Locally you are only 5 minutes to shopping at Park Royal Mall.and Lower Lonsdale and The Quay
We are12 steps down to the suite, (banisters on both sides of the stairs)

Our stay was super comfortable, very clean, lovely linens, comfy furniture, well equipped kitchen, and luxurious bathroom. The location is excellent. Howie, our host gave us a thorough tour when we arrived. The area is quiet and within walking distance from a large, old forest park. We really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it!

Clean suite in basement of family home. Separate entrance, well-equipped space including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We could hear occasional footsteps above, but nothing bothersome. Really nice to meet Howie and hear some of his stories, hope to be back here!

We had a wonderful stay at Howie's beautiful accommodation. It's in a lovely area of Vancouver and was always a pleasure to return back to after a day out with plenty of space. Spectacular Accommodations in N. Vancouver

We were very late checking in due to a major flight delay out of Atlanta and rescheduled to a later flight arriving after midnight. Howie was very accommodating and kind to provide access to our VRBO so late. Inside we were thrilled to see the amazing home available to us during our 2-day stay. The kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living space was beautifully appointed and we really appreciate our very own washer and dryer use at our disposal. Howie kindly offered us a ride but we had already ordered a Lyft. He couldn’t have been any more accommodating which was greatly appreciated and the space was immaculate!

Just the perfect hidden gem near everything. Easy on and off of Hwy #1. Transits close, we are transit people when we visit Cities. Hiking in urban forests minutes from the property. Grocery and restaurants walking distance. And best coffee shop ‘Nomad’ in North Vancouver. We have stayed twice in this location and will be repeat guests for years to come.

We were very impressed with how clean and well maintained the suite was. Stephanie, was the host because her husband, Howie, was out of town. She was friendly and helpful recommending restaurants. Great location

Right off the highway, Howie’s home is easily accessible but still quiet and cozy. The suite is down a staircase to a private entrance to the basement of the home. Howie was a very communicative host and we felt very comfortable there. If you have a car, this is a great place to stay - free parking, easy drive to the city and super easy drive to cypress for skiing!
