不近人情的酒店

由於班機延誤，我們抵達蘭利公路洒店的時間剛過11點，我們打它的緊急連絡電話，一位婦人一直說辦公時間已過，堅持要我們第二天再來辦理住房登記，是的我們到達加拿大的第一天流落街頭，印象非常惡劣。

First off its old, but reviews said was a good stay, check in the reception area smelt strongly of so.ething not sure what. Got my room key and pulled up to the room. From outside not too bad, air con unit in window but curtains pulled and were an odd colour. Inside i was fully expecting a dead body. It smelt bad, walls were patched but not covered, wall material peeling away from the walls, armchair stained, bed was clean but without thi king was auto checking for bugs. In the bathroom open electrical light sockets and mould, bathtub shower rail hanging off, toilet not affixed to floor properly. Strong smell of cigarettes in the room. Its old but not maintained at all. Expected cracker Carl to come knocking Went to recption and asked for money back which was refused. No way i was staying so found another place to stay. The reviews on this place must be made up as it is a complete and utter dive. I have stayed in some shady places around the world but this topped them all. It should be demolished.

This is very old and dirty motel. Half of the property is closed off, air conditioner was so noisy we had to turn it off. Bathroom fan was very noisy as well. Room smelled bad This property should not be vene listed on Expedia. TV was not working. I think shower was the only thing that was exceptable

The pool. Wasn’t available and looks as though it has been closed all season. The carpets need a shampooing and other small maintenance work.

Noisy toilet, inconvenance of getting to the room ( lots of stairs) no in room coffee, or coffee available in office/lobby, pool out of service (appeared to be shut down for a long time)

Older property, which explains the economic price, near Highway One (Trans-Canada) yet not traffic noisy. Room was adequate for couples: very near to large multi faceted shopping centres and fitness and artistic facilities.

Overall, it was acceptable for the price and I had a good stay, but the air conditioner was so noisy that it didn't let us sleep at night.

There are more aspects of the hotel that I don't like than what I do like as follows: Noisy AC, and that was a "window-type" unit should be a mini-split type with the fan-coil unit located elsewhere (I suggest on the wall opposite from the bed). Noisy bathroom exhaust fan, and what appears to be a missing grille and light diffuser. Outdated and difficult to control bathtub and sink faucets. No desk with chair; the room was too small to accommodate these. Not barrier-free.
