“Great location and clean property. Enjoyed our weekend. Take food as not many restaurants near Aurora. Visit Washington and try crab dip at Two Rivers Ale house.”

“This rental was well furnished and comfortable. The home was very clean, appliances, linens and bedding were of good quality and little extras such as coffee, water in the fridge were much appreciated. Also, location was great…in the heart of Oriental. Overall, our stay was a pleasant experience!”

“What a gem!!!! The PERFECT place to stay not minutes from New Bern but out in the country. Everything is perfect for an outdoorsy feeling with every comfort you could want. Details have been considered in this well appointed little home. The owners were so nice and we loved seeing the farm animals. Will certainly come again and bring friends to rent the other cabin!”

“Super cute cottage. The surrounding areas were nice. Met with the owners of the property which had large fire pit, if you like farm animals like ducks chickens and goats you’d love this home. We did run into an issue with the water heater not operating correctly the owner attempted to fix it but was unable. We were offered to use a shower room attached to the home. We had a 2 night booking and would stay again as the only inconvenience was no hot water for both days.”

“Beautifully decorated, comfy bed and pillows. Quiet and clean. Great spot for a romantic getaway. ”

“I stayed at one of the cottages and it was probably the most adorable night away from home I've ever had. The room was immaculate the bedding was excellent and the bathroom was amazing. My daughter and I stayed here as it was the only place near Oriental that had any space the weekend I went. A little fancier than we would normally pick but everyone was really nice. My only negative about this space was that the water was not really cold in the shower. I know that sounds like a first world……

“Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upstairs bathroom in this cottage needs a serious review. It must have a deep cleaning to remove mold that is:On white tiles in shower.Large area of mold is on both sides of pocket door. It was uninviting and looked disgusting.……

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oh my goodness!!! Best cottage ever!!! We felt like we were at home!!!! “This is a good property. It is just outside the city near water (not the main river, a side creek. It's a quiet community with plenty of amenities. Check in was easy, it took just a few seconds to get the door unlocked (keypad) but once you did it it was easy. Alana, my host, was attentive and responsive. I had no issues but I'm certain she would have quickly responded if she was needed. The room was cozy, about the size of a large extended stay hotel room. It was a little dated but I……

“Our stay was splendid. The townhouse was clean and very accommodating. The view from our balconies was stunning! Our 10yr old boys entertained themselves for hours swimming. The only thing that could’ve made our stay any better was if we stayed longer!! Thanks for a perfect ending to our family vacation!”

“Great, I recommend!”

“Overall a very poor experience. This was a VBRO rental through Travelocity. We got not check in instructions and had to make several phone calls to get assistance for check in. Overall almost 2 hours after a day of travel to get into the unit. The unit is very sparsely furnished and has only a double bed and couch. The place was not very clean either. Would definitely not rent again”
