Beautiful house, beautiful garden, beautiful village

Lovely cottage, very well presented and practical. Great location, a quick walk to the shops and restaurants in the village, and close to rhe beach. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas. Highly recommended for couples or families. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful house and garden

This house is very comfortable and the garden is so lovely. The owners are very kind and they thought of everything when furnishing the house. You feel very private and the garden is enclosed. We had a lovely holiday here. Varengeville-sur-Mer is a beautiful and quiet village with (one of) the most beautiful beaches of Normandy.

Peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings

We had a fantastic short stay in this spotlessly clean, well equipped house surrounded by beautiful gardens. We have stayed in many houses in France over the years and met lots of lovely owners but honestly, Svetlana and Pierre are our favourites! They are close at hand; were really helpful throughout the booking process and I’ve no doubt would have been equally helpful in person if we had needed them. The truth is though everything is so well organised that we didn’t even see them until about 10 minutes before we left, when they arrived with a gift and good wishes for the journey home. It was such a relief NOT to have that awkward guided tour on arrival, as if we couldn’t recognise a bathroom without help. It’s always our least favourite part of a Vrbo booking and I wish more owners adopted the approach of Pierre and Svetlana. Special note for any Brits staying here. As you know, the number of things that we do better than the French have been dwindling over the years. By my calculations the only thing we have left are ‘a more corrupt government’ and ‘superior pillows’. Hopefully the former is about to change but I fear the French are never going to grasp the joys of a rectangular, firmer pillow. Take your own! :-)

Wir durften zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbringen und konnten unseren Urlaub dort sehr genießen. Das Haus ist so liebevoll eingerichtet und auch großzügig ausgestattet. Den traumhaften Garten haben unsere Kinder (2 und 6) geliebt und dort sehr viel Zeit verbracht. Es ist traumhaft ruhig gelegen und fernab der befahrenen Straße. Pierre und Svetlana waren sehr gut zu erreichen und sehr fürsorglich. So macht Urlaub richtig Spaß. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Our third visit - and still as good as ever

This visit to Les Hydrangeas was our third, and we hope to stay in this lovely little house with a beautiful garden on more visits to come. Pierre and Svetlana are delightful, welcoming, and helpful hosts, and they have provided a perfect "chill-out" place to stay. Varengeville is a charming village, with many interesting nearby places to visit, and it's just 15 minutes from "le shopping" in Dieppe. A huge bonus is that there are now 3 restaurants in Varengeville - the Auberge du Relais (5 min walk) Le Bateau (6 min walk) La Table D'Elka (8-10 min walk, depending on stiff joints) All are excellent, and very different from each other.

Coup de coeur assuré

Gite niché au fond d'une impasse, blotti dans un magnifique jardin.Tous commerces à proximité, restaurant à la sortie de la rue, parking privé,mer accessible à pied par des petits chemins escarpés .Très bon accueil des propriétaires passionnés par leur région.Il ne este plus qu'à vous perdre dans le jardin plein de surprises ,guidé par le chant des oiseaux et poussé par ce vent de Printemps...On adoré !Jean-Claude et Nicole

Superbe!

La petite maison de vacances convient aux couples, aux amis proches ou à une petite famille. Elle est très calme, du moins en basse saison, tout en étant au centre du village. Les propriétaires sont très aimables et toujours prêts à aider en cas de besoin. L'équipement est complet, propre et bien entretenu. Le charme de l'aménagement et le magnifique jardin ont beaucoup contribué à ce que nous passions une belle semaine de vacances à Varangeville. Merci Svetlana et Pierre !

Ein hübsches Haus in einem schönen Garten

Wir haben uns in diesem gemütlichen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Man merkt, dass die Gastgeber mitdenken und den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt bereiten möchten. Auch der schöne, gepflegte Garten hat uns sehr gefallen. Vom Haus aus ist man schnell beim Bäcker oder dem kleinen Supermarkt im Ortskern, ebenso im Restaurant. Wir mögen die Gegend sehr, gerade mit E-Bikes kann man schöne Touren durch das grüne, ländliche Hinterland machen, und die Steilküste bietet tolle Aussichten. Dieppe mit seinen vielen Geschäften und Restaurants ist auch nicht weit. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Urlaubsidylle pur

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in der Normandie. Das Häuschen war traumhaft mit dem wundervollen Garten und dem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. Es hat alles, was man benötigt, um sich eine Zeit zu erholen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sie haben dort eine kleine Wohlfühloase geschaffen, die im August mit den wunderbar blühenden Hortensien wunderschön ist.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in herrlicher Umbebung

Wir hatten wunderbare Wochen in dem Ferienhaus. Selten hatten (noch nie) ein so gepflegtes und schöne Freienhaus gemietet. Für zwei Personen die perfekte Größe. Wir haben wertvolle Tips von den Vermietern erhalten. Die Infrastruktur ist ebenfalls super, Bäcker, Metzger, Lebensmittel zu Fuß oder noch schneller mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Am Morgen ist Wecken durch die Vögel angesagt, in einer Vielfalt von Stimmen wie wir es noch nie erlebt haben. Viel Spaß und nochmals vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Bärbel und Götz Nous avons passé des semaines merveilleuses dans la maison de vacances. Nous avons rarement (jamais) loué une maison de plein air aussi bien entretenue et aussi belle. La taille parfaite pour deux personnes. Nous avons reçu de précieux conseils de la part des propriétaires. L'infrastructure est également super, boulangerie, boucherie, alimentation accessibles à pied ou encore plus rapidement à vélo. Le matin, le réveil est annoncé par les oiseaux, dans une variété de voix comme nous n'en avons jamais vu auparavant.
